Unfortunately the trend for the vgt, ogt and igt room rates is cabins are being assigned at about two weeks before sailing. The standard specific cabin gty categories get assigned first usually before documents and luggage tags get mailed.

Today sees the list for the FE close. We have a total of 13 staterooms taking part which is great.

Yes that would be fun if they did. My son is very tall for his age so we wished he would play basketball. But he has somehow ended up and plays ice hockey and loves all things Xbox ( right now it seems to be MW and call of duty). If your son has Xbox that would be a great way for them to get to know each another before the cruise. If so let me know.

I'm so excited.. was resigned to driving to Orlando from Chicago, but kept checking for flights and found flight on SW for the 3 of us for $426 ... Now I can spend more time relaxing instead of driving!!! There is no way I could drive for that amount of money, my van would take more in gas. Now I just need to find a rental car to the port!!!

Got our room assignment for our cruise.
So for the FE our room is 7538.
We are happy that we have the same room for both cruises!!! Whew!

I hope everyone gets their room numbers soon! We booked late and still got ours? It did take a while to get our 2nd room number and of yes they are like 3 floors away from each another.LOL But it is all good! just happy to be on this ship! We have one room on deck 8 and the other on deck 5

No we just got 2 rooms but they where not assigned close to each another. What kind of GTY did you have? I am wondering if anyone is getting free upgrades! What would be nice to hear.

Great Deal you got! SW for us is like $500.00 per person! So we will be driving.

Driving is not an option for us but for three of us we got(I think) a good deal on airfare... $1400 round trip from Seattle to MCO. Its the rest of the trip that is costing us alot!!!

I don't know if you talked about this but just was wondering who has late dine time and early dine time? I know it just depends on each family and what they like best.

We have early seating. We did a late dinner our first DCL cruise and we cannot eat that late. With one 8 year old and a 75 year old eating early is a wise choice LOL

My son and I will be joining all of you on the 28th. I'm a single parent and I have been saving for this mother/son experience for so very long. I'm in disbelief that it is only a month away! This is our first cruise and we are both extremely excited. Any general advice for a first time cruiser would be greatly appreciated! I've been reading every tip I come across, but I still have no clue how anything works (dining, boarding, activities, etc.). I guess it's a good problem to have!

Have added your room number to the spreadsheet list. It helps to have the same room for B2B. we often sail B2B and have the same room, we sail B2B this time 7/28 and 4/8 but have different rooms by choice, we wanted to try an inside stateroom with virtual porthole and as this cruise will be our last(for a long time but not forever I hope) we have treated ourselves and gone concierge for the second part.
