So, how bad were the crowds :crowded: really? President's Week is going to fall during Mardi Gras :jester: week next year. I need to know how long the waits were and if it is really worth going at that time. Sooooo, who went this year for President's Week? What was your vacation like? Thanks.

fwiw, the tail end of Pres. week, and the beginning of MG week came together this past weekend. The crowds were large, but I've seen bigger during the summer (july/aug 2003). WIth FP's, and staying late at night, we got everything done that we wanted. Wildnerness Lodge was nice, and the buses and boates were crowded, but not stuffed like a sardine tin.

We were thinking about next year during MG, and might go to Disneyland instead - do you think the crowds will be any different?

I agree with Dave, crowds were large but not as bad as most of the summer and certainly not as bad as Christmas week.

We were there all of President's week. As others have said, crowds were big, but not as big as I have seen on past Pres week visits. Overall, with proper planning and expectations, crowds were manageable.

We were there the whole week too and it wasn't as bad as I had feared. By using FP for the attractions we wanted to do I don't think we watied more than 20-30 minutes for anything.
