Hi - I was wondering how crowded it's been when you've done the Meet & Greet that Disney card offers at Epcot. Trying to plan our schedule for the day...any advice is appreciated :)

Also my mom is on my account with her card (different last names)- does that mean we can each get one photo or is it just one per account.

TIA :)

We just did the Disney Meet and Greet. We went on a Friday around 3:30 and only had one family in front of us. It was great and we got to spend some alone time with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy.

The only information they take from your card is the last four digits of account number. There have been reports on this board that people had used their card numerous times (I am assuming on different days) to get more than one free pic. I definitely would try go at two different times so you would have a chance to see different characters. I have heard that Pluto has been seen there as well.

I'm not sure what this is...I have a Disney Visa. Does this allow you a special meet and greet with characters? Oh my! Details please :flower:

This was a hidden gem of our trip! We had Mickey and Minnie to ourselves with tons of Photo Pass pictures taken in August. We got one for free. :earsboy:

I am assuming the pictures get added to your Photo Pass account. How do you get the free picture? Do you have to pick the picture up at the park? Thanks. :earsboy:

At the meet & greet they give you a coupon for the free 5x7. You take your photopass card to the Epcot photo shop and pick out your free picture. They take several poses so you have a choice. Both of us have a card, so we got two coupons.
We didn't wait at all. After we were registered, we went right in, we had Goofy and Minnie. Nice perk. The hours are 1:30PM to 4:00PM. at Innoventions.

Thanks for the info. I want to make sure we will be at Epcot during those times. :)

Innoventions East or West? Is this daily? Do the hours change?

It is at Innoventions West from 1:30-4:30. Last Thursday, we were 3rd in line at 1:30 and had to wait about 15 min. We had Minnie, Goofy and Donald. The picture is of all of us together. Very cute. I was a little disappointed that Mickey was not there, but I got over it when I saw Donald. They will have the PhotoPass cards there if you do not already have one.

We went 3 times during our last trip -- Saturday Sept 3rd, Tuesday Sept 6th, and Friday Sept 9th. Didn't have to wait during any of those visits.

Is this something that they do all the time or on specific days. We aren't going until April 06 so I would really like some additional info on this.

Sorry it ends on Sept 30. thats not to say they wont do it again

Do you have to sign up for this in advance, or do you just go to Innoventions West during those times with your Disney Visa?

My DH and I are going with my parents (first time since I was much younger that I am going with them!) and this would be a great way to commemorate the trip! (just a little more Disney magic!) :wizard:

Thanks!

Can anyone tell me if they actually look up your account, or just look at your card to see that it's Disney Visa?

I got my Disney Visa in the mail yesterday (just converted over an existing account), and I didn't get the Red Mickey ears logo I requested, just a plain looking credit card. Will I have trouble taking advantage of things like this where you have to show your card (is there anything else like this)? Should I go through the hassle of having them send me a card with a Disney picture on it?

I'm no too sure about different pictures different days. but my mother and I are both card holders and we each got a picture...... they do write the account number and name down don't know how long they keep that sheet....

Would someone please post just the details:

What day/s/everyday??
Time???
When does it end??
Where exactly??

And it looks like you can do this more than once during a trip??

Thanks, you're the best!
