For those who got the lottery for the upcoming shuttle launch

If you were in the lottery to get tickets for the upcoming April launch, how many tickets were you able to buy?

There are six of us going down to Florida in June to hopefully see the launch and I was wondering if one of us were chosen in the lottery that we could buy all six tickets.

Also, how much are the tickets for the launch day at Kennedy Space Center?

You wouldn't have to buy tickets to see the launch. There are parking spots off Hwy. 1A that give perfect viewing. We once had passes (free) to get up close but with all the busloads of people that came into the area it took us forever to get out of there. We have watched launches twice from the parks and it was so much easier to leave when it was over. Hope you get to see it! They are fantastic to watch. We once waited for hours to see our first launch and it was scrubbed with three seconds to go.

I believe if you are chosen you are allowed to buy 6 tickets and you are given 1 placard for your car so you'd all have to be in the same car to get in.

I was one of the lucky chosen for the congressional tickets for STS-134 next week so I didn't need to try for the KSC tickets but I have been reading this site:

for tons and tons of info. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people there. There may even be a thread started for the STS-135 in June if you look around.

As for prices I am not sure but I think they are posted on the KSC site. I do know that you have to be fast in your purchase in order to get it in before they sell out so don't mess with adult and kid tickets just purchase all adult to save time or you may get timed out!
