My Uncle Jimmy (mom's brother) passed away unexpectedly from a brain annurism (sp?) at age 47. The few days following his death, my mom, her three other brothers, my grandfather and I all had lightbulbs burn out.

I was also listening to his favorite cd (Meatloaf), and the cd cracked in 5 or 6 pieces in the cd player. Never had that happen before...or since.

My uncle's son got married after his death, and one light on the church ceiling flashed throughout the entire ceremony. My DH and I weren't sitting with my mother and father at the church, but my mom and I both noticed it and knew it was Jimmy. Other people, including his daughter, commented on this during the reception. I'm sure it was his way of joining us for his son's special day.

Last month my best friend of 25 years, Jill, lost her Dad to cancer. In many ways Jim was like a Dad to me and everyone is all relieved that he is not suffering and in heaven, but miss him so badly.

Jill's mother had a hand held freecell game that she played and a week or two before he died it just stopped working. New batteries didn't help either. A day or two after Jim passed away, Jill was helping her Mom work thru a pretty bad breakdown where she was saying she didn't know how she'd go on with out Jim and that she just couldn't do it. The freecell game was on their kitchen table and started beeping and making noises it had never made before. When they went to pick it up, it stopped and went "dead" again and still doesn't work.

We all think it was Jim making it beep. I was at their house on Sunday and the freecell game is still on the kitchen table.
