For those that go in September-PLEASE Respond!

So I am thinking about changing our trip from early 2007 to the end of September to take advantage of the free dining. I just want to know about the weather. Does it start to cool off in the least bit near the end of the month? at all? We like it to be nice and warm, but will it still be scorching? I know that alot of people worry about hurricane season and what not, but dosen't that start to taper off by the end of sept? These may be silly questions, but I have only been to Florida once. Also are the crowds still low at the end of Sept? Any feed back and info would be great! Thanks sooo much!

we always go in September. The heat is terrible and muggy, but we manage. Last year I drove myself nuts worrying about hurricane season, we went and had a fabulous time!!! The crowds were very low and we didn't wait very long in a "ride" line at all. If you choose to go during September just prepare yourself by drinking lots of water and perhaps taking a break in the early afternoon by going back to your resort for a rest. It did cool off at night though- down in the lower 80's lol. We still had a great time even though we weren't used to the heat.

We went the very end of September/beginning of October in 2003, and it was hot hot hot. It was never unbearable, and we always were ready for a nice break out of the hot parks by about 1 or 2, so it went just fine!
We are planning to go earlier in September when it will probably be hotter, but if the crowds are a little less, then it is fine with us!

We went the first week in October last year. It was hot and humid but not unbearable. Rained quite a bit. Just be prepared take ponchos and flip flops.

The last week of September in 05 was hot and humid but were going back again this year at the same time because you can't beat free dining. Plus there were very low crowds. We drank lots of water, used mister fans and took a break in the afternoon. For some reason last year it only rained once that whole week which I have heard is very unusual.
