I remember somebody posting a week or so back if anybody had seen any Intex or temporary pools on clearance anywhere. I just wanted to report that we found some GREAT deals at our local TRU today (Vernon Hills, IL). A 15' by 48" pool (I think original price $299) was $99. An 18' by 48" pool (normally $500 something) was $149. Somebody bought a 14' x 42" pool but I don't know what that price was. There were 3 of the 15 foot ones, 2 of the 18 foot ones left. We saw 3 of the 18' ones at our local Wal Mart a week or so back and they were $349 on clearance--thought it was a decent deal but this was really good.
The employees at TRU were all amazed at the deal--one of them had just bought one for themselves and was wheeling it out. Of course, local stock really varies--might be a good idea to call first.
