I remember some of you posting a while back about candles that remind you of WDW.....

Well, even though we didn't get to go to WDW this past week like we had hoped, we still stopped at the Disney Information Center in Ocala. There they had some candles named "Magic", "Hugs and Kisses" and "Pixie Dust". They were only $9.00 a piece and reminded me just a little of being there!! We bought the magic and pixie dust ones.

If you all are still interested in those candles I'm sure that you can call the Info Center and they can ship them.

I bought the "Magic" candle last winter at WDW. I really liked it, it has now burned up to nothing, but still sits on my desk...with it's Sorcerer Mickey label, and a 4-Parks jar-topper I also got for it, it still looks nice even though it's empty. I must get a new one next trip :)

What are the scents like?

Well now THAT"S awesome!! Pandy, where did you get yours? At WDW? Gotta look for these in Dec.! Thanks for the tip!

Umm, hard to explain the scent Blondie...it's light, maybe a little floral-ish...not fruity, not musky, not over powering, very pleasant.

Dream ~ I had picked mine up at Mouse Gears in Epcot, but I did see them at the World of Disney, the AK gift shop and various other shops around the world when I was there this summer.

I have "magic", and I think it smells like a cherry slurpee from 7-11. Really like it :)

Oooh, magic sounds yummy, Minnesota!! Donna, will you help me find these in Dec?? ;)

For those of you who have the Disney Candles, how have they burned for you? My DD has burned several Disney candles and they tunneled" terribly--burned right down the center leaving all the wax around the side. We pretty much gave up on buying them because of this. So have you had these problems--or did we just have a bad experience?

Thanks for mentioning/asking this, MJ! I'd be interested in knowing as well.

i remember seeing these in WDW when i was there in March. can't remember what stores though. :)

I burned mine for the first time yesterday and now that you mention it, it does seem to start to have a "tunnel" effect.. :(

I saw these when we went to DW last month and I said to myself, "I have to come back and buy some of these."

Did I remember to buy them? NOOOOOOOOOOO. It made me mad too when I remembered that I forgot to go buy them.

I think I remember reading on the label though that Magic was cherry/blueberry scented and Pixie Dust was like a lavender/vanilla scent. I can't remember exactly how it went. I sure do wish I could've gotten some though :(

A closer inspection: The label does say "Blue Cherry" :p

hmmmm....I didn't have any problems with it burning down the center, it burned straight, clean down to the glass bottom.

KimRaye, we'll go shopping as soon as you're unpacked! :)

edited to add: come to think of it, i did have one of those candles shaped like Mickey Ears once (no jar, just a candle) and that one did burn a tunnel down the middle.

I had "Hugs & Kisses" & it did tunnel very badly - shame - the scent was really nice...

Interesting Eros, but I see you couldn't keep away. The title told you what it was about but you were drawn in anyway. Perhaps you wish to join. LOL
