For those DVC folks that use Magical Express??

We use it all the time....when at WDW. My husband says "I don't want to think about driving or finding my way around when I am on vacation....." But it's too bad, so sad I tell him when we go to Vero Beach. Driving is a must there, but it is REALLY EASY to get there, so all is good!

The only con I see in using ME, is that if you have a late arrival (6:00p on) at the airport, your luggage may not show up to your villa till like 10:00p! Thats what happened to my son who flew in from CA. Other than that, my husband loves it! :rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah I would probably NOT use it for a late afternoon/evening flight in. However we are flying out of BWI around 10 so I think we might try it this time.

DH used this last Thursday. He arrived at MCO at 10AM, and got to AKV by noon. He had only a carryon. The DME bus stopped at Pop, Caribbean Beach Resort, Coronado Springs and finally Animal Kingdom Lodge. He waited about 25 minutes on the bus at MCO.

We've only used ME once. I called MS to book it. We arrived on a Sunday around 9:30am. We waited a couple minutes to check-in and headed for our bus. Which just happened to be waiting. :thumbsup2 We sat on the bus 10 maybe 15 minutes before it headed out. The bus was not full. We did make stops at CBR, BC, YC and last BW.

Our luggage arrived in our room a couple hours later. We just happened to be there when they showed up.

DD17 and I will be heading down in August and I am planning on using ME again. I was pleased with the service and it's free. And DD really didn't care for the towncar last time , so that works for me. ;)

When I first used DME, we stayed at Pop and we were the first stop. On our second trip, we stayed at AKV and so we stopped at Pop, and Coronado Springs before AKV. (I don't remember if CBR was in there too) My kids and I really enjoyed the brief peek at the other resorts. I was with a friend of mine who had not been to WDW since the late 80's. She was able to see the value, moderate and deluxe resorts on one bus trip! It wasn't exactly a "tour", but it made the trip a little more tolerable. We just treat it as part of our Disney experience.:wizard:
