For those adults who have roomed with other adults...sofa or pull-down bed?

Yep...another quick question!! I will be cruising with a big family group and because of such (and the fact that DH can NOT come with us), I am rooming with my mom and dad. Since they will get the queen, I have a choice of the sofa bed or the pull-down-from-the-ceiling bed. Which one should I go for? Any other pointers for adults rooming with other adults?

One night dh took the sofa and I took the pull-down bed so they kids could sleep behind the curtain (we were hoping for more darkness in the morning so they'd sleep late). I love the pull-down - very comfy, no creaking and I'd recommend it to anyone

Hi,

We had two couples in a Cat.8 balcony stateroom one time and no one complained. Everyone was very comfortable and slept really good aside from the snoring that someone was doing every night. <BG> I reccomend the sofa bed though, I personally wouldn't want to sleep on the pull down if it wasn't necc. ( I don't like heights). Hubby is 6'1 and he slept fine on the pull down though. Could be an adventure one night though if you want to try the pull down. You'll be very comfortable either way. When our daughter (an adult) travels with us in the same room, she sleeps on the sofa bed and always found it comfortable.

Just back from the Magic. three of us in the room 2 twins and I slept on the sofa. Very comfy and no problems sleeping at all!

Hi there...I cruised a while back with my friend and her DD. DD got the pull-down and I took the sofa bed. Very comfy. One thing to think about in making your decision. I always end up getting up at least once in the night. If you're like me, you may want to think about whether or not you want to be crawling up and down the ladder in the dark. For me, that is just too much effort when I'm half asleep.
