I registered to vote! I'm kinda excited about it. :) For the first time I've actually realized how important it is to vote... took me long enough!

Way to GO, Meagan!! You're not the only one. I think LOTS of people who didn't care 4 years ago, care now!

I always vote because the way I figure, if you don't vote, you got no right to complain about who's in office. I feel it gives me the right to state my opinion about the Administration because I had a part in creating it. Those who don't vote, then whine about the way things are, well, are just whiners and complainers in my book.

I just applied for my absentee voting ballot a few weeks ago. Plans are for me to be overseas until 2008, but that doesn't matter to me. It all affects me over here, too!

I'm so glad. Voting is a good thing :)

Good for you. I can honestly say I have never missed voting in a single election since I registered 21 years ago.

Jason, I bet some of your best friends are democrats.:p

Meagan, congrats.:) I'm registered, but I tend to forget to go vote from time to time.:o

Congrats! - just in time for Tuesday's election. And don't forget to vote in the special election in April - it's just the school bond issue.

That's awesome, Meagan! :) I am a big advocate for voting. It just annoys me when people don't vote when that is part of the privelege of living in America, and even more so for women, who weren't always allowed to vote. I tell people I don't care if you don't vote the same as me, just get out there and vote!::yes::
