What opens early on DL property??? Weather its the gift shops at the hotels.... someplace at Downtown Disney... anything like that.. What opens Early... (The parks arent going to open until 10 except on MM when we are going...) Thanks for any info!

La Brea Bakery Express opened early, it was a good place for breakfast and they had good coffee.

Also in DTD Compass bookstore/Cafe is open way early. We were kinda hanging around last summer hoping that World of Disney would be open before we had to leave, but alas it did not open until 10 am. (Dbf lost our DD2's Minnie mouse that we had purchased there. She had a coronary and only wanted that very same type of Minnie (Year of a Million Dreams) While waiting to see if it would open we stopped in at Compass and discovered all kinds of moderately priced breakfast sandwiches (they heat them up for ya) bagels, donuts, and lots of coffee choices. Plus you can purchase books, mags, and newspapers.

Good to know, thanks! We're trying to figure out alternate breakfast places and good coffee is a must (that early...haha).

Could someone please be a little ore specific with times. We're coming from the east coast and will definitely be up early.

I'm also from the east coast, so we too will be up early :goodvibes On the bright side we'll always be on time to everything, if not early! And we shouldn't have too much trouble waking up in the morning! :woohoo:

We'll be in the same boat with kids who are early risers. We booked Character Breakfasts at Storytellers, Goofy's Kitchen and Lilo & Stitch just so we'd have something to do in the morning!

Main Street opens prior to the park oening as well.....not sure if it's an hour or 1/2 hour tho...

The cafe part of Compass Books opens at 7 a.m. (bookstore part, not until 10)

Jazz Kitchen express and La Brea Bakery both open at 8 a.m.

If DL regular opening is at 10 a.m., then normally they open the turnstiles at 9:30 a.m. so you can shop Main street and wait for rope drop at the top of Main. So in those cases it's good to get to the turnstiles by 9:15. On a Magic Morning day, they just open the turnstiles at 9 a.m., no rope drop. MM days it's good to get there at 8:30.

DL opens @ 9am two days of our trip, 8am for our MM. On our arrival day we'll get into LGB @ 8:30am. Day 2 is our MM. Our last day we'll have an early breakfast with Lilo & Stitch before heading to the parks.

Thanks for defining the term"early". These are not early enough for us. Our normal day starts at 0500(this is for the whole family except for DGF who works nights), it would be nice if some of the breakfast palces opened at 0600. Since MM starts at 0700 during most of the summer, you would think we could get some breakfast prior to that start time.

There are two IHOPs over on Harbor as well as a Dennys, Mimi's and Millie's you might find one of them open early.
