You need to earn your license first. If you completed at least 1/4 of the
Autopia quests, you can use the magic pin to drive. I completed a few of
the car quests before doing this. It came in handy later!
At the Autopia Quest Track, I used my car pin and got on the track. As
soon as I saw a gas can, I drove over it. Drive over a few of them and
you get the license. Put the license pin on.
Then go to the Space Quest deck and click the control panel to get that
quest. It's the big console on the second level. From there it tells you
to start with driving, and you need the car and license and drive on that
track.
Be sure to get mostly gas cans, but also get the little trophies that
appear. In the first Space Race, you need five of those trophies to win.
I made sure I had six of them and left the track exit. The next part
asks you to do the same task at the Off Road track. Except now you
need to get ten trophies!
As long as you have gas cans, you can play for a while. When I first started,
I ran out of gas, and luckily I had other car magic to use to start playing it
again. I didn't need to wait for my other pin to charge.
(I did that too rofl!) After getting 25 and 33 trophies on that track getting nothing and mulitple dc's, I finally discovered that little trick from another thread.
