For picky kids, which Epcot restaurant is best?

My kids are not picky eaters, but not terribly adventurous either. Ever since they were about 10 & 7, they have shared the Chicken kebab adult meal at Marrakesh. The chicken is seasoned, but not at all spicy.

I haven't eaten there yet, but plan to this next trip with my soon to be 4 year son old but have you looked at the menu for Liberty Inn and the American Pavilion?

From my personal experience at Biergarten it was a flop for my picky eaters. No basics. No basic Mac n Cheese. No chicken tenders. All my kids found were rolls and butter.

Yep. My DS9 isn't that picky and he wouldn't eat anything but bread, fruit and jello at Biergarten. I was super bummed because I thought he'd AT LEAST eat some meat, potatoes, and some veggie. But no. He told me it "smelled weird" in there. :sad2: Thank goodness I only paid kid price for him.

Epcot is soooo frustrating with young kids. Too many places have only 3 or 4 options for kids and they seem to assume that if the parents are adventurous, the kids are too so those 3-4 options don’t include standard kid options. I’d love to eat at Chefs de France but no way my 5 yo is eating anything with béchamel. Tepo Eden would be fun but miso and teriyaki are just not going to happen. And he’s not even overly picky - he eats hummus and random other less standard food. There are so many restaurants both TS and QS that I would love to go to but can’t because of the kid options.

AK is much better about that. We’ve been able to eat at both TH and YaY. I wish Epcot would do that as well. It’s great they offer more adventurous options to help kids branch out but they need some items to help us parents out until then.

For now it’s Coral Reef for us. Ugh.

That would be great if they had standard kid food on every menu. I love most of the restaurants in Epcot, but most the kids won't eat at.

We did Garden Grill for an early dinner and it was great! We had 6 people and a couple picky eaters and there was something for everyone. My 4 year old basically ate macaroni at every restaurant the entire week, and they served a great big bowl of macaroni so he was good to go. They also had food that was good for less pick eaters and I liked that they served the food to us, instead of the buffet style at other places.
