For "Just Backs"...How's the Rain??

Was just wondering how to pack???
Was it rainy everyday? Did it get chilly
enough to need long pants? We're planning
on bringing rain ponchos, but last time we went
Florida was in a drought(2001) and there wasn't
much rain, (much less any fountains running) so
we didn't bring our ponchos to the park everyday!
Just wondering if it's back to raining every afternoon??

We just got back Sat the 7th. We were there from the 31 to the 7th , it only rained the last 3 days we were there and it was the usual afternoon thunder boomers fl usually gets accept for one day it lasted about 3 hrs and had heavy downpours. Luckily for us it was more or less a rest day for us.

It rained a few days down there, however it was a "warm rain". I wore capri pants one night in DD and actually felt warm. I'd bring one pair of jeans only and even then you probably won't need them. The only time it got cool was Wed 6/4 when it rained all day and cleared up around 7. My DS had a light sweatshirt w/ shorts and seemed fine.

We were also there May 31st through June 7th. I would say you should expect rain everyday in the afternoon. It seemed that it would rain at 3 PM. The weather report called for the same thing for the next 10 days.
I would take capris that are light weight over pants.

It rained most of the time we were there this past weekend. My legs weren't cold at all in shorts, but my wet arms and upper body did get cold in some of the attractions after the rain. Ponchos or rain jackets are a good idea. Also, unless you are wearing sandals I would suggest bringing a dry pair of socks. I spent most of the day walking around with wet feet.
