Hi Faye...:)
I was told that the entertainment card:confused: had an offer for CI&S for $40 per night. I'm going to WDW, US, and SW for 2 weeks in Dec. and was just wondering if you knew anything about it? The Entertainment Book at www.entertainment.com 2202 book expires 11/02/02 and I can buy the new one in Oct. I thought the card and book might be the same thing but I don't know. Any info is appreciated.:D Thanks!

Cheers:)

Do you have a Disney Club Card? It has the entertainment logo on the bottom of the card, and you can use that just the same as the regular entertainment card. It would not get you the same discounts locally for you wherever you live, though.
Save you buying another card.
I got the 39.50 rate buy calling CI&S 800 number, and I asked if they honored the entertainment card at this location, and the reservationist was surprised, but said yes.(was not listed in 2002 book)
They did not even ask to see my card when I checked in for my first stay of 7 nights, but then they asked to see it when I came back for my last night. Didn't even make me take it out of my wallet, though.
Make sure you sign up for Country Inn ands Suites Member card. For that long of a stay, you'll rack up a lot of points towards merchandise or a free room .
Disney Club Card saved me a ton of money on park passes, about $35-$40 per pass bought at the local Disney store before I left. Plus I bought some merchandise at the Disney Store with the card and you get a 10% discount.

Had to go find my purse for this info--
CS&I 800# 800-456-4000, I used this for my ressies, just asked for entertainment discount over phone. Booking this way gets you out of all timeshare stuff

800-508-9000 to sign up for 'goldpoints reward program', or www.countryinns.com

You just give them this card when you check out of any CI&S, or Raddison hotel, and you get points good towards many things, room upgrades, free rooms, TGI Fridays free food, etc

Thanks for the info IowaGirl. I appreciated it very much. It looks like a really nice place. Thanks!!!!

Cheers:)

Hope you read this because I would feel bad if I gave you mis-information.
On the budget board there is a thread where they say you cannot use the DC card for your entertainment card in Orlando. This is opposite than what I remember reading a few months back, but I will defer to them since I had both cards anyway, so I brought and used both cards
I knew it would not get you local discounts like they would have in the book for Orlando, but I thought it would work for National chain hotels, and this is reported not to be the case.

Having both cards was in my benefit anyway, both way paid for themselves.

Good Luck!

Hi Iowagirl:)...Thanks for the info. I was thinking about getting both anyway, so it's cool either way. I'll check benefits on the DC card before I buy so I can compare to AP holders discounts. I'm gonna buy an AP so I can go back in Oct/03 without buying tix again.:D

Cheers:)
