? for Experienced 7 day cruisers

What are some of your reccomendations for the menus on the 7 day..

especially the Tropical Menu, Around the World Menu, and the Captains Gala menu.. since these will be completely new to me!!

Hey Shelley- lobster from the Capt. Gala for sure. I always print the menus up and then for some pre cruise excitement go through and put little * by things I want to try..........well last cruise I did that and noticed I rarely chose what I had selected before cruising and in some cases was disappointed w/ my on the spot choice. Sounds weird I know. This time I want to stick more w/ what I choose ahead because last time on the meals where I didn't like something (say the appetizer for example) I looked at the menu after and couldn't understand what i was thinking because the pre cruise choice once again sounded way better!! Maybe it was the salt air affecting my brain???
We should definitely see you at MGM ToT on Thanksgiving!!!

If you are looking for suggestions the best person to listen to is your server. I'm not a very adventurous eater, but my DH is. He'll listen to the servers suggestion and has never been disappointed.

The important thing to remember is that you are in control and know what you would like best. What one person recommends you might not like. What someone else says stay away from you might love. Its all about personal taste.

I know this probably hasn't been much help, but thought you might find it worthwhile advice.

Also if their are two that you just can't decide on. Dont make a choice, get both!

Also - don't be tied down to ordering 1 appetizer, 1 soup/salad, 1 entree, 1 dessert!

Many times, I have ordered 2 appetizers and 1 entree. My sister orders 1 appetizer, 1 soup, and 2 desserts!
