I love them. They explain stuff in plain English, and they have the books arranged in a way that makes them very easy to read. I recommend them.

FOR WDW the pictures arent of the parks and neither is one one on the cover. It was okay but i like the other books for WDW better.

I got "Mortgages for Dummies" when we went to make the offer on our house. Lots of great information!

I'd buy more.

I read Flying for Dummies one time and it was really informative!


Of coarse……… I do suggest that you don't rely on just that before trying to fly.

I have one for Vegas and it was pretty informative, even tho I also bought the Unofficial Guide for LV and find it a little bit more involved.

I have "Weather for Dummies" for my major effort project and it hasn't been very helpful for my project speficially but it does explain a lot of stay in a simple way.

When I was buying my first round of Disney guides back in '99 (and I think I bought them all, ), I found that one to be the least helpful. BTW, Passporter was the best, IMO.

I bought "Golden Retrievers for Dummies" a few years ago and found it helpful. The information was presented in a short concise manner. If I wanted extensive info about something I looked in another reference book. I got some great tips that I had never seen before.

I had a Half.com gift certificate that I had to spend, so one of the things I bought was "Handspring for Dummies". I'm looking forward to its arrival since I'm dying to do more stuff with my Handspring Visor than just use it as an address/date book.

But then I did a search for "for Dummies" on Ebay and couldn't believe how many different titles there are! Some of which I didn't even know I needed until I saw them on Ebay. I'm watching an auction now for one, and just wanted to ask here before I start bidding on too many of them. Thanks for the comments!
