? for Ding experts...

So we're flying from Louisville in 10 days. There has not been one single Ding, internet rate or sale available for our dates since the moment of release. Our dates happen to be on a Sunday & Friday. Flights are still not full, especially the return flight.
What are the chances it might come down in the next 10 days?
Does anyone check for Dings for their return flights while at WDW?
All you lucky people who get fares and Dings for under $100 each way, count your blessings - we had to shell out $300 pp, and that was the "fun fare"!!

Yep, saw that but they were July dates and not good on Sundays or Fridays anyway.

Sorry, We just got back a week ago, We waited for SW to post new dates since January, and when they finally did they were outragous! We never did get a ding until a week before our trip. So needless to say we had booked with someone else. I personally am sick of SW!

I would love to fly SW from MDW to MCO in Sept. but their lowest internet fare has never budged from $129 each way (w/o taxes & fees). Airtran has had a web fare of $59 each way for a while now.

unfortunatly we don't get budget airlines like jetblue or air tran here in louisville, the best we HAD was SW. That's not even the case anymore. The cheapest I found was USAIR if you don't mind a connecting flight.

I would not hold my breath on a DING fare out of SDF for Fridays or Sundays....I have kept a record of them for the last 8 months or so...the vast majority of the decent ones ($59/pp or less) were for Tues Wed travel only and a few were for Mon-Thur travel and I have exactly 2 listed for Mon-Thur and Sat travel (but on the 5:20PM nonstop only) and none for Friday or Sunday travel. Friday and Sundays ar by far the busiest MCO travel days, with Sat a close second

....if we can plan trips for mid-week travel we almost always can fly SW from SDF or Nashville or Indy for about $100/ppRT.... I booked a Sat flight for us in July day before yesterday for $59/pp 1 way from SDF....we are returning in August so I am waiting for those. With tax and fees it was about $71pp for the flight down, we could have gone from Indy for less, but by the time I factor in airport parking for 2 weeks and gas to/from Indy it was cheaper and easier to fly from SDF

DINGS from SDF to MCO do seem to come less often, but they still come...just not for Fridays or Sundays!

SDF used to have Independence Air but sadly they are gone!
