# for booking Magical Express?

You need to call the number you used to make your resort ressie. Or if you booked online, make the request there. Or if through a TA call them. Bottom line, you need to use the original ressie source to book ME ressies. Even changes up to a few weeks out go through the original reservation source.
 
I've always been able to call. Some CM's have a little trouble if it was booked over the internet, but I've always been able to make changes that way.
 
Do the number of ME tickets need to match the number of people registered in the WDW hotel's computer? (number of people in your room = number of ME tickets?) If not, how do you get the ME tickets?

just curious...

DME is not "ran" by Mears. Mears does the driving of the buses. There's a lot more to it than just driving the buses.

Your right but they are contracted by Disney to run the buses.

Thats why when you get your package it's different then your Ressie ,The number is a toll free (and we all know Disney does not publish toll free numbers ).

I think now that they see it is working that they (Disney) will start taking over more of the day to day stuff .This will be a total Disney operation but thats not now.
Talk to any CM at the resorts and they tell you the same thing WE have no control of anything to do with ME.They even have to call cabs for their guess to make sure they get to the airport on some occasians.

Now I'm not knocking Me,Disney or Mears we have used it and have had no problems I was just stating that when you call CRO or MS they just look up your Ressie and pass it to ME thats all.
 
I have to say that I wish CRO would just pass me on to DME (Mears) automatically!!! They have messed my reservations up three times now. They say the computer can't do what I need....I arrive on Monday, dd and dh arrive on Tuesday. They 'say' that this can't be done. Then, I have had two CMs at CRO put me on hold, come back and tell me that they have called DME directly, and gotten 'walked through' the proceedure. Only to find out that no, it still isn't correct. Now, I have talked to DME myself and they laughed at me when I told them what CRO CMs had told me. Said to wait and see what my packet says and if there's an issue, call them back directly. But since they don't get the reservation until closer to the actual dates, there is nothing they can do at the moment. I'm waiting to see what my info packet says when it comes in the next 10, or so, days. Then, I'll most likely be on the phone to DME directly.
