For anyone who has used and loved the Baby Blanket Sunblankie Towlette - **UPDATE**

I am devestated. After searching in all the local baby stores - of which we have bajillions near where I work and then doing an on-line search and then resorting to the Baby Blanket web site - I think they don't make this product any more.

If you used it you probably loved it. Its was sunscreen in a large towlette that you rubbed on your child's body and could then seal up for a use later that day. It was probably the greatest sunscreen product I have ever used and I have been finding no other seems to compare for ensuring total coverage. I have been recomending it to parents traveling with toddlers and now when I am about to leave for my trip I can't find it any more.

Does anyone know if this is true and its not available any more. I am resorting to sending an E-mail to Baby Blanket and seeing if they are going to have it come back out or not.

I stock piled all Toys-R-Us had last year. I hope they didn't discontinue it.

Those are great. I don't use them on a regular basis but I always carry one in case we find ourselves outside somewhere w/o sunscreen. They are so big and that I can usually cover all of DD's exposed skin and mine as well. Have you checked with Right Start? I think that's where I got mine and they always have things no one else does. The next best thing are the individuals packets of sunscreen. I found those one time at Wegmans.

I am not sure if it is this exact product, but I saw something like this at our local HyVee. It came in different SPF's.

I did not pay much attention, as my teens would not appreciate Mom applying their sunscreen in this manner.

Thanks guys - I actually had found those in my web search and if you note you can not click on it and order it. I also talked to Jetset Babies (yup, I was getting desperate) and they said, that while it shows up on the web site, they actually have run out of the product and haven't been able to order more.

I wrote my E-mail to Baby Blanket and will see if they get back to me. I will let everyone know. They really were a great product that seemed to take the agony out of applying sunscreen. My son really hates to have sunscreen applied to him in lotion form or in the sprays and this makes it very difficult to get it evenly applied and in a way that makes me confident that he won't get burnt in some area he was burrying to get it away from evil Mommy trying to torture him.

Great News! I just got response E-mail from Baby Blanket and they will be having the Sunblankie Towlettes back in the stores as soon as the orders come in for them. They said they are their best selling product. Yeah! They also told me that Toys 'R Us and Babies 'R Us have already placed orders so they should be in those stores soon. I hope soon enough for my trip.
