Hi all!

We'll be heading to the world in a few weeks and have yet to purchase our tickets. I want to purchase them at the resort so they can be attached to our room key. My bank is really annoying with there "limit" on the debit card per day and I was wondering if it's possible to pay for the park tickets with a personal check and proper I.D., or should I just get traveler's checks and use those?

Thanks for the help! :D :D :D :D

When we were there last month, I just used travelers checks to purchase passes at the resort.:D

You can pay by cash, check, travelers checks, debit card or credit card. Why not check with you bank about raising the daily limit on your card. Or put a credit card on your room account for all of your charges at the resort (charging them back to the room) and parks and then mail a check for the full amount to the credit card company when the bill comes in.

Better yet, if you are a AAA member, purchase them before you go with a great discount. They also take cash, checks or debit/credit cards.

Thanks for the help folks. I've tried to have my bank raise the limit but they go on some sort of percentage basis. And credit cards....well...let's not even go there:D...LOL. P/check it shall be. You guys are the best! :D :D :D:D

If your reservations are through CRO can't you send down the money and apply it to your reservations??? You could send them a check in the mail for your passes. I've heard of people paying more than their reservation so they would have "spending" money built into their room. I know for a fact you cannot do this with DTC. The CM there told me they would just refund any overage you paid.

I have a related question. If I am a DC member and want to buy Hoppers upon my arrival at the resort, will they apply my DC discount?

Yes, they will. We got the discount once after a very nice encounter with a great CM and we're not even members!

dtuleya- My ressies are through DU and WDTC. Thanks for the great tip, however. I'll keep that in mind for future trips.
