Absolutely beautiful! So what time should we be there for the party Saturday?

There'll be a crowd of 15/16 year olds, so one more person won't matter! Oh, it's a sleepover, too! :)

Bummer, photos aren't visible. Followed throughout and wanted to see the finished product.

Good luck with the pool. Hope you have many enjoyable days in it.

Aaaahhh! I've watching it being built all along and now I can't see the final pics!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm not sure what happened to all the pics! I'm trying to fix it.

Awesome! I hope you enjoy it for many many years.

I can't wait until we start digging ours. It should be started next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Beautiful--with 10-12+ week pool builds in Florida--I didn't believe it was possible to have a pool built so quickly.

Enjoy it!!!

Be prepared to have a good portion of your lawn torn up, even parts of it that aren't right next to the pool. But, you know what- it's worth it! We spent most of this afternoon in the pool and lounging around the deck. I just wish Maine had a longer swimming season! :)

Our yard is so small as it is, we have been told the entire thing will be torn up. The pool is going to take up over half the yard with the decking taking up another quarter. The rest will be a grassy "doggy" ;) area.

The pool looks so fabulous! I love the fencing that you picked out as well.

may i suggest you avoid crushed rock anywhere around the pool,, we used "washed" rock around ours and while not as rough, they are still some shgarp points here and there,, crushed rock is really hard on bare feet when the pool toys get tossed into the landscape:)

Skimmer cleaning is important. It has a basket that catches leaves and bigger debris (around here that includes FROGS!) clean that daily, more in storm conditions when leaves would enter your pool etc
Brandy

This morning I went out to brush down the pool, check the skimmer, etc. Usually when I check the skimmer basket, I find very little debris- a few tiny leaves, pieces of grass.

Well, this morning I opened up the top of the skimmer and reached down to grab the handle of the skimmer basket and got a huge surprise. There were two frogs and a small snake in the basket!!!! I dropped the basket back into the skimmer and jumped back about ten feet!!! Scared the heck out of me because I wasn't expecting that! I carefully reached in again and slowly took the basket out hoping nothing would touch me. All three critters were still alive so I took the basket out by the woods and deposited them on the ground.

You can be sure from now on I'll be more observant when I reach in for that basket handle! I'm guessing the critters in the basket had something to do with the rain we had last night.

Oh my goodness ~ that made me jump just reading it!  When you said critters....I was thinking maybe a poor squirell or chipmunk ~ but a snake.  No way ~ no how would I have touched that basket again.  I HATE SNAKES.....I don't even like worms!!

Oops! Maybe I should change it to say crawly/jumpy things! The snake's little tongue was darting in and out- really freaked me out!
