It is tax free week this week 8/21 to 8/27 for all clothes and shoes under $300.

I also just heard that the Peabody Museum in New Haven has free admission this Saturday from 10-5pm. If anyone is interested in a day trip. Great museum for kids.

yeah, stupid state. They whine and cry that they have to raise the sales tax and get rid of the exemptions on clothing/shoes. Then they turn around and do a tax free week. Where's the logic in that???

I'm so confused by all this, that I thought they did away with tax week and did my shopping last week
