We don't have a trip planned right now but I'm really hope to drive down this summer with my two daughters. We drove for the first time last summer and had a great time. We're hoping to drive down for 2 weeks next summer if DH can save enough vacation time but if we go this summer it will just be the girls and me.

For now I'm living vicariously through all of you! Hope you all have a great trip!

You know there must be a meeting of epic proportions!! I hope that it can happen, our schedule's pretty flexible.

BC, just so you know, it took Dave and I an hour of texting within DHS to finally meet. It was like a scavenger hunt, i.e.:

He: Where are you now?
Me: Getting on Great Movie Ride
He: Just going over to RNRC
Me: Text when you get out
He: Just got out of RNRC
Me: "No service, in the GMR"
Me: Just out of GMR, where are you now
He: Wakling over to Osborne Lights
Me: Family hungry, stopping for a sandwich

It went on and on - it was a slapstick comedy after a while. DH couldn't wait to hear the next installment. Then FINALLY we were able to meet.

Texting worked really well for us.

hi bc!!! i see you tried to call. ill give you a call this morning. i have to go to peckville (near scranton) this morning so i will be on the road and i will give you a ring. it will be easy this trip to get all three of us together. sharon and i are at the contemp. we (dvczerfs) have an adr everyday but we come back to the hotel everyday around noon-1pm.it maybe easier meeting there than a park.. i was meeting up with a disdad and it took 40 min. to meet up and we were both standing in the
grand.flor.and we were texting!

Yes, although we are moving to OKW on the 21st, so our window of Contemporary opportunity is limited. We plan to be free most days between lunch and dinnertime, so we'll show up wherever we need to.

Leaing Thursday morning and have not packed yet. I'm still doing wash and so much to do. But when my DH says at 6:00 am on Thursday, its time to go, I'll be ready. I'll get my sleep while he is driving.
