FOP Seating Request

When we were there last October we rode it 7 times- enough that we go to notice the differences in the experience from different locations. We liked being in the higher level best and the last few times we asked for it and each time they happily met our request. I know we requested for a different reason than OP, but hopefully they would get the same response.

At what point in the line did you ask? Is it right after one of the videos? Or as you enter the room with the vehicles? It's hard to know what to ask, since I've not ridden yet!

We asked when we were at the point when they either send you up a staircase or to one of the doors on the level you are standing in line. It was definitely before the videos or entering the room with vehicles.

If I remember correctly, there are 16 seats per room. If you ask to sit around seat 8, you'll be in the middle of the row.

Sorry to hijack this....I didn't know there were stairs? We did FP+ so not sure if I just wasn't paying attention or what. I just remember ramps and then being loaded into the video room. I'm assuming the stairs just means a higher level of the same ride, but can anyone explain the difference?

You were just on a lower floor.

I am always on a lower floor. I use a scooter, so no stairs for me.

The stairs take you to a higher floor. It’s one of the ways you can go when you get to the end of the line where the CM is is waiting and sends your group to the first video room.

I have pretty bad motion sickness and vertigo and sat in the middle but was ok. A little dizzy when I got off but it barely lasted a minute. You can always close your eyes and take some deep breaths to escape the action on the screen if you need to. Hope that helps.
