Pro (NFL) all the way. (Jacksonville Jaguars specifically, but will watch almost any game and be entertained.)
Reasons: all the best players, parity, any team can win any week, there is a REAL PLAYOFF to determine the champion. Draft is equitable to all teams (unless you are the Lions and run by an idiot named Matt Millen). Level playing field for salaries (for now).
I enjoy college football and will watch, but it is nowhere near the NFL in terms of quality or fairness. Schedules feature too many patsies that equal bad games (blowouts might be fun but they are not good games). No playoff is a joke. Polls are a joke, especially early in the season. How many "upsets" were there just this past weekend alone? All because the "polls" thought one team was better? Screw the polls and give us a playoff. Not enough parity (you know the same teams are going to be in the hunt every year with very few exceptions - the big schools have more money and therefore generally have better teams.
College is a better "spectacle" with the bands and students and mascots and such, but for pure sport the quality as a whole is just not even close to the NFL. The best college football team would be creamed by the worst NFL team (not just conjecture - they used to play a game of college all-stars vs. NFL rookies and the college team was getting beaten so badly after so many years they stopped the game).
