We were headed back to the hotel for some relaxing and maybe some swimming. I took some pics on the way back to the room.

Anyone else see this and think “Calyyyypppso” from POTC? Maybe it’s just me. ???

We went swimming for a while; it was just what I needed too. It always helps to stretch my muscles out after all that walking. Plus we never get to swim at home so it’s great to have nice weather to swim in.

We got showered and changed and got ready to head to our night time destination, More Food & Wine Festival @ Epcot!

I took advantage of the nice weather to take some pics of the F&W decorations.

We made a stop in Club Cool since we always forget to go there. KC actually wanted to try Beverly again so see if it was as bad as he remembered. I did not need reminding.

We headed straight to the showcase towards Canada.

We made a stop at the Poland booth. We had pierogies plate #2 & Wild Mushroom soup (A).

They were both really yummy! At least this time I wasn’t too stuffed to enjoy the pierogires.

We went into Canada and took some pictures. (hi Lessa!)

As always I need to visit the Ministry of Magic whenever I see these booths. I’m a dork, I know.

We stopped for a few and saw one of our favorite things in Epcot:

As you can see there were a lot of people so there was no where to stand. We stayed for a song and then moved on our way. We wandered all the UK shops and just explored.

Then we realized we were there a bit before the British Invasion played so we decided to plop on down on the curb and wait for them.

We stayed for about ¾ of the show. They were really good! We just didn’t feel like getting caught in a crowd so we snuck out by way of the gardens. KC had no idea they were even there so it was neat for him to see something new. We strolled our way towards the gateway. It was really nice to have done the showcase already and so we could really just relax and have a good time together.

There was the PP guy at the fountain in front of France so you know we took a pic!

The line was really long at the France F&W booth so KC was sad he couldn’t have anymore escargot. Because 3 plates wasn’t enough. So we trudged on to the Louisiana Booth. We had the Crawfish entoufee again and tried out the bread pudding (A+). Sorry no pic, we were just having a grand old time and I forgot the food porn.

We stopped to eat our food and watch this woman perform.

She was outstanding! She was so entertaining, telling stories and singing, we both really loved her!

At some point the boat towards the promenade (that’s what the center of the showcase is called right??) so we quick jumped on there so we didn’t have to walk the rest of the showcase.

Looking back now I have no clue why we did what we did as far as taking the boat back to the entrance because we walked back towards the other side of the world showcase anyway.

So we walked to Norway. I wanted a school bread! KC told me to sit down in the covered seating area and he’d go get it. That was fine with me because my feet were tired! When he came back he had something else besides a school bread with him- a Peach oolong tea Slushie!

After our snack we decided to take a ride on Maelstrom. There was a slight wait but nothing that didn’t keep on moving. We ended up in a boat with a lady who thought it was a roller coaster because she kept yelling “what’s going to happen??” “ Is this a drop?”, she was so dramatic. We didn’t wait around to see what she thought of the ride, or to watch the movie either. Has anyone ever stayed for the movie????

On the way out in one of the shops KC spotted this candy bar….

Can you tell he’s saying “dddddaaaiiiiiiimmm”?? LOL. We thought it was hilarious.

We walked towards China and there was another PP guy there so we stopped , of course!

I love the random spots they have the PP guys! This guy was really nice and chatted with us for a while too.

Now the reason I said the path we chose was weird was because we didn’t leave the showcase after China, nope, we headed further into the showcase?! Weird I know, but it’s what we did. At least it got me a ride on maelstrom, since I seem to have missed it for the last 2 trips.

Why were we heading further into the showcase you ask? Well we went to this lovely place…

And decided to see if 2 could walk up and eat here:

Now most of you know KC missed the big August Focker dinner and has wanted to eat at Biergarten ever since, so that’s what we did! They told us a 15 minute wait. We sat out by the clock and I reminisced about how it’s weird not to be there with 40 friends. It wasn’t 10 minutes and we were seated! BTW we missed the clock thing by like 5 minutes, and I was ready with the camera and everything! Oh well, we had food to have.

We got seated at a table right near the buffet and we were first to the table sow e got the spots by the railing so we could see the show really well. We ended up being sat with a family from NJ. At first they were quiet but then the grandmother got some beer in her and was in a better mood and became more talkative!

KC had some too. We both ate 2 plates of food plus a dessert plate. KC was a happy guy! He had a lot of fun during the show too…

We ate plenty that’s for sure. And when the bill came we were surprised, we thought it was only $25 for the meal not the $28 or whatever it was. It just seemed high, but we ate our fill so we didn’t bother dwelling on it.

We had better places to be….like visiting some EMH’s at DHS!!! Crazy I know, esp. after the long day we had but it was our last night and we planned to live it up! IROE was just about to start so we walked through a dark world showcase while everyone else crowded around to see the show. We made it in like 10 minutes flat all the way to the gateway! We were on the first boat out, no crowd, they were all behind us. After a nice leisurely boat ride we were ready for some more fun!

You gotta know where we went first, right???

Check out the 40 min wait time…not too bad we thought! It went fast enough!

We noticed something really neat this time and it wasn’t in the ride itself. The morning before when we rode we noticed a lot of the wall was ripped up in the queue, esp. after the stairs. We noted how it’s sad that people do that to a brand new ride. Well tonight we were about to make mention of it again and the paint chippings were GONE! I just thought it was so awesome that it was fixed up so fast! Go Disney!

Yea he kicked my butt again, but I love that ride so much I don’t even care! But my accuracy was better!

The Voyage of the Little Mermaid was starting in about 10 minutes so we decided to make that our last stop. We relaxed in the queue room and got really good seats for the show. But boy oh boy did we get the worst singer ever! We both looked at each other like “HUH?!” when she was singing. It was like she was a back up person or something and everyone else had gone home for the night. She was also chunky too, which just looked kinda weird on Ariel. I am by no means small, but you get my drift I hope.

So after the stinky show we wandered our way out of DHS, taking some pics, holding hands and just enjoying our last night there.

We were back at Music by about Midnight. I packed us up so I’d have less to do in the morning and KC watched some TV. We actually ended up finding some old school wrestling on TV and watched it until we passed out.
