i've got that same tink shirt you had on your first night at epcot. oh, and i too ordered the welsh dragon at R&C. great minds think alike, i guess.

so cool that you guys had such a quiet night at epcot that night! isn't it such a bummer when the video at the end of SE doesn't work???? glad it did for you guys this time. those pics are really funny!

We stopped first the Joy of Tea stand, our new favorite place in the showcase. We got our new favorite drink in all of Disney: A peach oolong tea slushie. Heaven in a cup. And awesome in the warm weather.

Wow! No wonder you were exhausted by the end of the day, traipsing around WS all day long!!! The chilaquilles look delicious -- I am a sucker for anything Mexican, especially if it comes with sour cream!

Whew! That WAS quite a day... but an awesome one! There's a lot of walking in WS and when you add the eating and drinking... well, who could blame you for being tired. Glad you got to have a DIS meet!

It's def nice to know I have some DIS friends around whenever I am down in Fl.

Poor KC...you know there ARE bathrooms in Mexico-you just have to ask at the podium for San Angel and they are there. You traipse through the diners to get to the bathrooms on the right side (if your facing the restaurant). We learned this tidbit many years ago. Lots of people filter through to the bathrooms that aren't dining there, so I guess its just a matter of knowing they are there and that anyone can use them.

Your SE pics are hilarious! Although yeah, it does look like the middle finger.

I am taking a mental note about those mexico bathrooms! Thanks!

BTW - There is a restroom in the restaurant in MExico. You just pretend you belong there (like you are waiting for your name to be called) and walk past the check in podium and go in....Not that I have ever done that before

He so would have gone to those bathrooms, but I wouldn't have gotten the semi nap on the bench if he was closer.

Your comment on how KC ordered in Spanish at the Mexico booth made me laugh because when I worked at Epcot during the 2002 Food & Wine Fest, they had a Spanish booth. None of the workers were actually from Spain, and a few times they stuck me in there. I felt so bad because all day long guests would come up and start speaking to me in Spanish and I would have to admit I didn't speak it very well at all
The Grand Marnier slushie looks amazing! I have a habit of always getting a fiesta margarita in the World Showcase, and therefore have never tried any other frozen drink there. That might have to change next trip!
All I can say about KC's face on SE:

Great story! it must happen to a lot of CMs. I love the margaritas too but that slush is soooooo yummy.

I spent most of my time at that Food & Wine fest working in the New Zealand booth. All day long people would come up and ask me what part of New Zealand I was from, and I would say "The Philadelphia area." Most people didn't get it

We got up EARLY today, 6am. Again, It was really just me getting up and KC sleeping until I forced him out of bed. But we were both up and out of the room by 7am.

On the way out of the building I noticed these weird seemingly randomly placed little mirror things. I never noticed them before.

So why the heck were we up so early? We had a date with some Tonga Toast! So we made the trek to the Poly. We took the bus to the monorail to the poly. I swear I love this resort, the feeling you get just makes you smile. It also holds happy Focker times too, which made me smile as well.

The original plan was to go to Capt Cooks and get some Tonga Toast. We even remembered out mugs for coffee and juice. But once we got there the line was super long and there were hardly any tables anywhere. I really wanted to sit and enjoy breakfast so we decided to try our luck with Kona.

They took our name and then about 2 minutes later we were seated!!! We brought our mugs in with us, I don’t know if that was allowed or not, but the waitress didn’t say anything to us so we made no effort to hide them.
We shared 2 breakfasts…Tonga Toast (of course) and the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. Each came with a side of meat so we split bacon and sausage. We also shared some Loliquioi Juice. Ya know that mixed juice that tastes like heaven in a glass?!

It was a TON of food but spectacularly yummy! I always wanted to try those pancakes, YUM.

After being fully stuffed we headed to the monorail and went to our morning destination, Magic Kingdom!

We just missed rope drop, but that was fine with us, we’ve seen it before (Sorry Z). I was surprised to see Christmas decorations already!

We stopped for some PP pics along Main Street.

I love KC’s face in this one.

Of course I took some shots of the Xmas stuff down main street too…

Can you tell from this picture wheat our first ride was???

Yep, the Jungle Cruise! We LOVE this ride! We got stuck towards the end of the boat this time but we had a good and funny skipper so it was ok.

Next we hit up POTC (KC’s fav ride). For some reason there were people on a boat ahead of us taking flash pictures. It really ticked me off! I hate stupidness like that; it was seriously messing with me enjoying the ride. Dummies!

We then hit up my fav ride in MK, BTMRR! There were some serious screamers in our car, it was kinda funny. KC of course kept adding to is and screamed when we were slowed down, it was mighty funny.

Then we did HM. I’m assuming none of this stuff had a wait because I didn’t write one in my notes. I would have noted if there was one. So GO US for getting a lot done!

Then we headed into Toon Town for something I was so excited about, I felt like a little kid again. We were going to see TINK! She is my very fav character of all time. Ever since I found out they were having a real Tink I knew we had to do it. So off we went.

The wait said 90 from the ropes. KC was not thrilled but I tried to convince him it was ok since it was air conditioned. He still rolled his eyes. So rather than have him complain on the line I sent him to SM to get us some FP’s for later. It took him a good 45 minutes to go there, wait on line for the FP’s and apparently stop in the men’s room. When he came back I was almost to the hallway where they take you in.

The wait really was 90 minutes in the end. I didn’t care. They take you through a doorway that leads you to a place that’s decorated over sized to make you feel small. They even give you a “pixie sized” PP card! I was so cuted by everything KC was giggling at me.

They only take in small groups at a time. KC and I were first. When they open the door for you to go in the fairies are peeking o0ut looking for you. I almost cried, I swear. It was the cutest thing ever. I had a HUGE smile on my face the whole time. They were super organized too. Iridesa grabbed KC & I and showed us around the room. So greatly themed.

The CM pointed this out to me…see the hidden mickey? He told me there were 15 in the room alone!

Then we got our time with each character. First was Roseta.

She even had the southern drawl. She was impressed KC knew her name (we watched the movie on the plane remember). She was really great. She told us to pose with her.

Next was Iridesa. They were just so darn adorable, I swear!

Then it was our turn with my girl Tink. She was SO funny. She rambled on and on saying silly stuff. I was cracking up. She asked us where we were from and we told her New York and she said “DO you have to find a new one a lot?” I thought I would explode with happiness. The CM’s were great about catching the action.

Even KC loved her!

I then asked if I could have a pic alone with her. She said of course. I told her she was my very favorite character and she said “I am not” and I showed her my Tink necklace and she flipped out. So cute.

While I was talking to Tink, Iridesa cozzied up to KC and was chatting him up, it was funny. He told her how excited I was to meet Tink.

I finally met Tink!!!

I left there ready to leap in happiness. KC was just happy I was so excited, he was giggling at me and how happy I was. It was truly worth every minute of that 90 minute wait. The interaction as amazing.

I was in need of some sitting down since I stood on that line forever, so of to the people mover we went.

This is what KC decided to do on the people mover, get comphy.

There were lots of stopping on the people mover, wheelchair guests I guess. We didn’t care, it was so nice to relax. I LOVE the people mover for that. We didn’t even take pics, just enjoyed the riding around.

We decided we needed a nice refreshing drink to cool us down, what better than a Dole Whip! On the way over there Is topped in front of the castle to get some close up shots. I love my castle.

Then we finally remembered to take pics of all the little statues around the partner’s stature. We always say we will but forget. These are the best ones.

Then we got our drinks…

KC was being different and had the vanilla with Pineapple; I stuck with the good old classic.

We drank them at one of the tables right next to Aloha Aisle. We people watched and relaxed. We saw Rafiki’s line become nonexistent. No one was going to him so he started hopping out into the crowds and pull people in, it was funny to watch. Then we made jokes about how funny his butt looked. Then I had a moment for Lessa’s brothers and took this:

We were getting pretty tired and decided a break was in order at the hotel. On the way we stopped at the bathrooms by Casey’s. I found this in the ladies room and thought it was so pretty for a bathroom I had to take a pic! So I’m strange.

And since we were right next to Casey’s we grabbed some corn dog nuggets to snack on the way out of MK.

I took some more pics of Christmas stuff on the way out too.

Thats so cool about pixie hollow! Not sure about the wait, but I never realized how cool these character experiences can be sometimes they are worth waiting for! I know for sure we want to go see Woody and Buzz near toy story mania, have you seen the set for that?? its so cool, you get shrunk to a toy!
