You have great friends. I could maybe talk my best friend into matching t-shirts but there's not a chance her BF would agree to it LOL.

I love TSM but agree it's not worth the crazy wait times! We're planning on getting there for rope drop too.

Raglan Road has a delicious chicken curry (one of my favorite pub dishes) and the Guinness stew was awesome. Those are the only two things I've tried, but the real reason I can't wait to get back is for the Bread & Butter Pudding.
They also have live music and Irish step dancing for entertainment.

Would it make you feel better if I admit that after reading about some of your different drinks, I looked up the recipes and plan to bring the ingredients on my Cape vacation this summer???

Nope, my friends are exactly as crazy as Ben and I are. Which is pretty crazy. But it makes for a lot of fun!

We went to Lake Compounce on a whim with Hilde&Sebastian last year and had sooooo much fun. But the 3 hour drive was killer, so we are staying over this time!

My inlaws have a house in Harwich and we spend a week there in July every year! Just a couple more weeks!

Nice! Have a blast oooh... here's one: Magic Dole Whip float. We came up with this a few weekends ago- pineapple juice, scoop of vanilla ice cream and a little Captain Morgan. Brings you right to the Magic Kindom (with a little more magic )

Ben and I are trying to fit in a long weekend to the Cape. Probably Truro... but, we'll see...

I was just going to get the TiW card once we went to our first park, but that was because DVC members have to buy theirs in person. I didn't realize that AP holders can get them ahead. So that's what I'm going to do- that way we have it right away, in case we eat lunch somewhere that takes it.

These friends are awesome! I can't wait for the TR starring all four of you! I really hope the offer gets accepted and they can move closer to you. The market here is crazy. 15-20 offers on each house, way over asking price. I hope that is a sign of good things to come! AZ was hit really hard in the housing crash, especially my little town. =(

Wow, I can't believe what the housing market is like there! I hope that means things are getting better. There's still TONS of homes for sale in our area, but our friends keep having issues with the inspections and sellers not wanting to make any repairs or price reductions. Haven't heard from them on this latest, yet.

I haven't had much time to post- last week was a little nuts. And pretty much no fun at all. Let's just say I am glad it's over.

But things are looking much better now, and I think my routine is back to normal, so I figured it was way past time for me to update here!

I think we were up to
Day 4: Tuesday, 10/16

We'll take the monorail to the TTC, than transfer over to head to Epcot. I don't think we'll be trying to make rope drop- but we will head over fairly early since Hilde & Sebastian want to ride Soarin' and we won't want to miss out on Fastpasses.

They also want to check out the Behind the Seeds Tour at the Land (Ben and I did this already, so we are skipping it) so we will probably sign them up for a tour when we grab FP for Soarin'. Whenever their tour is, Ben and I will entertain ourselves elsewhere in Epcot.

I'd like to make it over to World Showcase right when it opens, so that we can have lunch snacking at Food & Wine boots before it gets too crowded. I can't wait to find out exactly what will be offered so I can plan what we're gonna eat!

After we've eaten, we'll make our way back to BLT to get changed into our costumes. Cause this is the night for MNSSHP!! We'll have to pick up our tickets at Guest Relations, since we bought the with the DVC discount, and have to show our member card to actually get them. So we will head over in plenty of time, especially since we have a dinner ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern for 5:30

At the party, none of us care much for the character meet & greets- we definitely want to see the parade and Hallowishes, but otherwise we'll enjoy the park and rides. I am soooooo excited! This is a first for all of us.

And there you have it- another super fun day that can't get here FAST ENOUGH!!

The Food and Wine festival shouldn't be too crowded on a Tuesday, when we were there during the week it was fine! It's the weekends that are awful!

Yay, I'm so happy you're doing the MNSSHP! It's so much fun, the parade is amazing, and I'm really not a big parade person, and the fireworks are awesome!

Looking forward to seeing how the shirts turn out. Love the spirit! I think if I mentioned this to my friends they would first look at me like I am a crazy obsessed wdw woman (more so than they think now) and then they would probably run a mile But there is still time to convince them!

Day 3 looks nice and relaxing (well in the afternoon!). I think it is so worth it getting up early and then taking the afternoon off.

We are lucky- Hilde & Sebastian are very very similar to Ben and myself. And they happen to already love Disney on their own. They've just never done it 'right' You know: no ADRs, only a few days at the parks. Not making rope drops. I can't wait to show them what they've been missing!!

Behind the Seeds was awesome- it was the first backstage tour we did and it got us hooked. I like that you can sign up the day of, and it isn't a huge time commitment (not too expensive, either). You still get the thrill of going 'backstage', though, and you learn a lot!

Remember when I said this week would be better than last? I'm not so sure about that.
Well, yesterday was bad, but today is looking better: I had a great riding lesson, my computer decided it would work (after not wanting to earlier today), and it's almost Flag Day!

Flag Day? Yup! Our city does a parade and fireworks to celebrate (instead of a July 4th shin dig), and we can watch the fireworks from our front yard! So naturally, we've started a tradition of hosting a cook-out/party here for friends and family. It's been a wash-out the past two years, so my fingers and toes are crossed hopping for no rain!!

Another piece of good news is that Hoop Dee Do Revue is back on for October. The times changed, but the show is a-happenin'. This caused me a little bit of confusion, since I wasn't sure I wanted to give up my Artist Point ADR that I picked in place of HDDR. But after thinking about it, this was something all four of us were super excited about, and I just couldn't pass it up! It also means we can spend some time checking out Ft. Wilderness, after all.

From our 2010 trip:

We got rained on heading over, but Ben was still rarin' to go!

Our table was as close as possible to the stage. An actor actually used it to step on to get back up there!

Excuse the blurriness- we were just having too much fun!

I was toying with the idea of surprising Hilde&Sebastian, but I just checked my email and Ben already sent out the update to them. Haha, oh well, now I don't have to watch what I say for the next 4 months!
