Food Question

My DH enjoys GOOD food like anyone else, but he prefers rather simple foods. He will try new things on occasion, but he is a basic meat and potatoes guy at heart. We saw on the menus that you can get a steak or chicken breast instead of the listed choices (which really pleased him!!!), but does anyone know what kind of potato choices come with that? (he is hoping for a good old baked potato, of course) And also, is there the option of a plain old lettuce salad if it isn't listed on the menu?

They can bring you just about anything you want in the dining rooms.

There are many cruisers (especially men like my DH) who'd be happy w/a steak and baked potato almost every night. And he'll tell everyone the best he's ever eaten were on DCL. (He's right!)

Yes he can have a plain baked potato if he wants one.
They can also give him plain mashed potatoes too.
We travelled with someone with food allergies and those were two things that she had for dinner.
I don't know about the lettuce salad, but I am pretty sure that if they have lettuce in the kitchen, your husband will be having a lettuce salad if he asks for one!!
He can also look at the children's menu. One night I had a fruit salad and "Mickey" chicken noodle soup from the children's menu.

You can always get baked or mashed potatoes....and much other "plain" food.....just ask for anything you want. They can usually get it for you.
