Tough choices, I like several of them. Now if you put TJ Boar's BBQ in there it would be a slam-dunk.

I voted for the Cracker Barrel, mainly because we don't have one close by and we have stopped at them on the way to/from vacation a lot.

Chili's is good, but it used to be an after work hang out and not associated with the thrill of a good road trip getting started.

Applebee's, but it looks like I am in minority. I like it becuase it's not over expensive and everyone can find something they want....full bar, healthy food, non-healthy food, etc.

Up until we got a CB near us, this was the only time we ate there, too. After one opened a few miles down the highway, we went for breakfast and the kids asked if we were going to WDW. Still, everytime we stop in for breakfast, it feels like we're going on vacation.

I agree, CB is our "road trip" destination and I love it simply for that reason. I'm also crazy about the baked potatoes, sour dough bread and cracked peppercorn dressing!

I voted for Carrabba's though, mostly because we don't have one close by and I have very fond memories of their Peach Bellini's!
