How do you like your pie? Here are my preferences:

Apple (ice cold or room temp)

Blueberry (ice cold)

Pumpkin (room temp or cold)

Cherry (ice cold)

Dutch Apple Pie (room temp)

Peach (ice cold)

Apple room temp.

Blueberry haven't had

Pumpkin warm

Cherry not sure

Dutch Apple Pie (what's the difference between this and regular apple pie)

Peach room temp.

Dutch Apple Pie (room temp or heated)

Peach (room temp, cold or warmed)

Is there really a wrong temperature to eat pie???? Seriously, I have a hard time waiting for them to cool down long enough not to burn my mouth.

I have a pumpkin pie in the oven right now, and it's killing me I want a piece so badly!!!!

I like most cooked pies hot out of the oven, with a scoop of ice cream melting down over the top, so you get the cold of the ice cream tempering the heat of the pie. PURE HEAVEN!!!!!

The only pie that I really have a problem with when it's warm is blueberry pie.. It's one of my FAVORITE pies, but if I eat it warm it KILLS my stomach..:confused3 Weird..

Strawberry-fresh/cold (not cooked)
cream pies-cold
key lime pie-cold
ice cream pie-frozen;)
Fruit pies-warm ala mode AND whipped cream

Isn't that interesting!!! I wonder what causes it?

I love pie. I prefer all pies warm but I will eat it at room temperature. I'm greedy:goodvibes

Along these lines, it's time for me to start seriously thinking about pie.

About 10 years ago, my family began holding Pie Night the night before Thanksgiving. Our reasoning is that on turkey day, we stuff ourselves so full, there's never room for dessert. So, we get together with family and friends, and everyone makes pies and we cut them into tiny slices and pig out! It's become quite a fun tradition, and last year we had over 40 pies to sample.

I usually make 5 or 6 pies to take, so I'm open to any suggestions for pies for Pie Night. I always make pecan pie. My recipe is killer!!! Other than that, I'm open for new ideas! Any takers?

I don't like pie. I will eat the filling out of an apple pie, but I don't like pie crust. I think I'm a little weird!

I HATE warm/room temp/hot pie of ANY type.....They have to be ice cold out of the fridge! YUM!

No, you're not weird. My DBF loves pie filling but not pie crust. So, I usually make crisps instead, then he has no crust to deal with. Altho every time his Mom makes pie he eats at least 1 usually 2 pieces, complete with crust.....

Apple, warmed up w/ice cream on top

Blueberry, warmed up w/ice cream on top

Pumpkin, room temp w/whipped cream all over the top

Cherry, warmed up w/ice cream on top but this isn't a pie I like very much, if there's something else I skip it

Dutch Apple Pie, warmed up w/ice cream on top

Peach, warmed up w/ice cream on top

I also make a pear pie because we have a pear trip, OK so it's really a pear crisp but I like it warmed up w/ice cream on top.
Lemon pie I eat at room temp or cold, chocolate pudding pie I eat cold.
