I noticed quite a few Fs on the map- thankfully- I am a hungry runner and dont care for the gels- what do they have and are they pretty well stocked even for the last 1/3 of the pack?

The food stations generally have Clif Shots, bananas, sometimes candy, and maybe some other fruit too. They're certainly not well-stocked from a food perspective, but I think they'll have plenty for everyone.

Recalling from memory...

Mile 13 - Bananas and oranges
Mile 16 - cliff shots
Mile 17 - sponges
Mile 19 - shots and oranges
Mile 23 - candy

Ok sponges are not food so do not eat... But it is worth knowing in the event a warmer day

Thanks to both of you...now maybe I wont run with my clementine baggie...my last marathon was out when I came around and I was bummed and this one looks hard to coordinate with family in the upper miles- so really appreciate the detailed info!!
(ps you never know how hungry one could get, those sponges might be tasty after all of those miles ha ha)

That frozen (!) banana at mile 13 last year was the most fantastic thing I've ever eaten in my entire life. :lmao:

DS gave me a McD gift card as a present so I mentioned to DW about a McD M&M McFlurry overpass hand-off. Would be real nice if the temps are in the 70s by the time I make it that far.

And the back of the pack had raisins at Mile 23, there was no candy left. Good motivation for the last part of the race....get to the candy....get to the candy!

I'm running the Full for the first time...and the one other marathon i ran (2008, Hartford ING) they seem to run out if you are a back of the packer. I worry about that with disney too..any race actually. It makes you feel like a second class citizen. I hate it too when the musicians are packing up and leaving, even though there are plenty of runners still on the course :(. I'm slow, but I enjoy the experience. SO! i'm going to run with some clif blocks on me, just in case. I don't like to rely on the race, though I should be able to (not being negative, just a reality i've found being a bit slower of a runner).

When i ran the Providence Half, they had one water station, good thing i wore my belt!
