Just wanted to remind everyone that this evening at 10pm, on the FOOD network, they are having a show about Disney Fairytale Weddings. I believe it is a repeat, but just may be fun to watch. They are also showing it at 1am.

I am going to be out (or, rather, I *better* be out) being wined and dined (are you listening, DF?) but I will TIVO it.

To be honest, I will not be wine-ing, and I will be doing very little dining, as I am trying to lose 10 pounds by the wedding... and the honeymoon.

Q: HOW MUCH SALAD, SALMON, AND PROTEIN SHAKES CAN A GIRL EAT?

A: AS MUCH AS IT TAKES, THAT'S HOW MUCH.



But, man! I might give my very -dom for a slice of bread!

In the meantime, I wait until my fiance goes to bed, and then I fire up the old trusty lap top. Yes. I confess: I am a frequent downloader of Bride porn--and Bride porn, as we all know, is pictures of wedding cakes. 5 layer, chocolate mousse filled wedding cakes, with thick, thick, THICK buttercream icing. Uhhhmmm...I can almost taste it, baby....come to mama....sweet and buttery good....oooh...even the gumpaste flowers look strangely edible...



Okay, that's enough--this is a family board.

Well, tonight is Rosh Hashanah, and being the nice little Jewish girl that I am, I probably will be eating like a maniac and not watching TV.

But I will TIVO it and my fiance and I will watch it together, probably tomorrow.

I didn't even know it was on! I turned the tv on to the food network (like I always do) and caught the last half. I did see it a couple of times before, though. Even though I had a DL wedding, it still brought back memories!

I saw it last night...I even recorded it on Tivo haha! My fiance acually watched it with me and I think he's excited for the taste testing!

My fiance recorded it for me! It was a lot of fun to see some of the locations where people on this board will be getting married...I'm getting married at home . But........did anyone else noticed the dress of one of the brides? Was it missing a sleeve? ...... I haven't seen anything like it before. (and just in case one of you is that bride....You looked beautiful....I just wanted to know the story behind that dress. )

The one with the Orange Theme does come on this board, but the one sleeved dress bride to my knowledge does not (but ya never know)- it was an unusual style , but she was a very pretty girl - I think that was the way it was supposed to be-

I watched the disney special! Thank you so much for the heads up...I pretty much cried thru the entire show because I'm trying to have my wedding there so bad. Disney can do anything with a dreams magic and a little bit of pixie dust!

My fiance and I set it for TIVO and I watched three times already!!

My fiance is so excited about the food tasting! That's what he is looking forward to!

I am just patiently waiting till Oct 18th to find out if we can have it at the WP. The anxiety is killing me!

I'm kicking myself because I completely forgot to DVR it. I even made a note for myself and I left it at work! Ugh. Does anyone know if it's going to be on again anytime soon?
