does the poly have a food court type restaurant or is everything sit down style? Also, can you use old refillable mugs? Thanks, Dani

No food court but a reasonably-priced "fast-food type" grill downstairs in the main building near the pool. It's called Captain Cook's and it is opened til 11 or midnight. They have cereal, pastry, fruit, burgers, chicken sandwiches, candy. Also Mickey Head Ice Cream Bars! Not sure if you can reuse an old mug. Debate rages here; you can certainly try.

Also at the Poly is 'Ohana, an all-you-can-eat Polynesian dinner buffet (also open at breakfast I believe), and Kona Cafe, which serves all 3 meals. They have great coffee and dessert. We had an amazing meal here at Thanksgiving. Something for everyone and those desserts are to die for... Also wonderful homemade bread...

You will not go hungry at this resort.

Captain Cook's (or Capt Crook's as DH says) is open 24/7 !

Their grill for hot foods does close at 11ish pm.
Refillable mugs are there also!
(don't wanna go there on the mug thingie either!)

Ohana's and Kona's are also some of our WDW resort favs!

Do you have to have a reservation to eat at Kona Cafe?

Kona is very popular and a reservation is a good idea. But you can probably make one when you arrive at WDW. I do this a lot, after I watch the weather forecast and check park hours and make tentative plans. They also have a section of the place that is a specialty coffee and dessert bar. Perhaps you don't need a reservation if that's all you are after!

The TONGA TOAST at the Kona Cafe is my favorite dish on WDW property.....mmm.....mmm.....mmmmm.
