So I have been planning out my itinerary for our Oct. trip and have EPCOT originally down for Oct. 18th. Now that is the first day of the F&W festival. Am I crazy - will it be really crowded? Should I stay clear that day or go anyway? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

I've never been to WDW during the food and wine festival so I can't offer information about this. I'll just bump this back to page one for you and give our veterans a chance to share their expertise.

From what I have experienced, the F&W festival has minimal affect on Epcot. The rides that are popular are not going to have longer lines than normal (e.g. test track).

There will be obviously more people in WS and the outdoor performers will draw a bigger crowd. HOwever, the indoor shows and rides will see normal lines.
