Food and Wine

We’ll be at WDW in early October and would like to see the Food and Wine. What is the best day and time to go to minimize being in crowds?

11am-5pm Monday-Thursday in my opinion.

The booths open at 11. We go every year and try to get to Epcot at least twice during our visit. We always make sure that our Epcot days are weekdays. I like to get to Epcot at Rope Drop to do the future world stuff and then hit the booths right when they open at 11 and work our way around the "world."

Weekdays, except Friday, are significantly better, we like to start exactly at 11 to minimize crowds.

Agree Monday to Thursday. Plan ahead, there is a LOT there and it doesn't work well to just "wing-it". Look at the wine tastings that are offered and the food and wine pairings. They are a lot of fun! Don't forget about the evening music by the Americas. There are many places to get copies of the food and drinks from each kiosk. It helps to plan where you want to be sure to try food, etc.

Yes, this. Mon - Thurs, start at 11am and you'll be fine. Not a lot of crowds then. Weekends (Fri-Sun) are a nightmare, so i'd avoid it completely.

Those are exactly our hours. Another advantage besides no crowds is that we've never seen a drunk during those hours. We go virtually every day during those hours and leave other parks for the evening or early morning, if we want to get up early.

Yes- weekdays are best. We did do a few Saturdays due to a short trip with the kids. We were in WS at 11 and finished up by 4. Lines weren't too bad.

Avoid Saturdays. We were there last year and I have never seen so many people at Epcot - it was a shoulder to shoulder in all of WS, absolutely nuts. We left around 2pm and people were just flooding in, a CM standing at the exit was just in awe and said to us "I have never seen this many people here ever before!" Just nuts.

I agree with checking out the menus ahead of time, also. I did that, and I knew exactly what I wanted and where to find it. We did a couple laps just to check everything out (on Friday) and DD15 did find a few things not on our list, but most of what we ate we planned it. It is amazing, though, and we can't wait to do it again!

Agree with all of my dis-friends! Look at the schedules as you may want to book chef presentations, tastings, etc., too. Earlier is better!
