DM thought this show was the funniest and cutest thing ever! She didn’t expect it to be like that, but loved how it got the audience involved and loved the jokes. I’m really glad she enjoyed it.

Um, people?! Did they not get the memo that this was the Peoplemover? The grandest ride ever!

You know... it is. But it doesn't exactly elicit the excitement of something like a Space Mountain.

DH was very excited as he loves army men! (he thinks any toy that DS gets, DH can play with as well )

We got to bypass everyone playing games. Have never been able to try these out. Guess that’s a good thing right?

They are kind of fun. At least the first time around anyway. I wouldn't want to wait in a long line there, but they are a nice touch if you can hit it during a short wait.

DH ran over and got in the very short line. He absolutely insisted because he loved him more, he would meet him first . And then he was meeting his dream man

I think there's a bro-mance going on here.

He asked me if that was my boyfriend and I said no my husband. And he said loudly enough to make sure that DH could hear, “Well my muscles are bigger so I’ll just make you my wife!” It cracked us all up!

And thus ends a Fairtale bro-mance.

We were approaching the fountain and DH ran over and did his pose from last time. Guess this is going to be a ritual!

I like the ritual, but it looks like some kind of a combination between The Thinking Man and Gaston.

The one picture of the Mayor is pretty funny, with his mouth all wide open. It looks like he's yelling at you. Calm down, killer!

Great choice of attractions. You HAD to do Laugh Floor with those shirts on! I'm glad your mom liked it. It's one of DH's favorites (he was "That Guy" once too). And I have always LOVED the Peoplemover! It's the best.

I'm so jealous of all the DISers that are going in May - maybe they'll get to ride the Mine Train. Looks so cool.

Yeah, that line for Be Our Guest is just crazy. I'm so glad we both got FP+. So much better.

Yes! In the first Toy Story, one of the soldiers got stepped on by Andy's mom and he broke his leg. He told the rest of the troop to go on, but the troop leader told him, "No man get's left behind." I love that they included him in the set!

I’m not sure why, but I was nervous about checking in. Nervous that maybe the CM had forgotten to write our names down, nervous that our reservation got lost, etc. I walked up to the window and gave our name and couldn’t find it in the system. I told the CM that we had stopped by last night and spoken to someone and said that he would be taken care of. He started looking through little pieces of white paper and found our name! Thank goodness. There was actually a lot of little slips of white paper like this. Maybe more guests had come up explaining the issues they had too. Even though we were a few minutes early, he told us to just go right on up.

I love that they have cold water for those waiting in the hot sun

We were going to take the stroller off to the side at this point, but the sweet CM’s noticed that DS was sleeping so they told us that we could keep him in the stroller. Yay!

There was a short line to order, so we amused ourselves with listening to the talking armor











And then we placed our order with a CM. I believe you had the option to do a ‘self-order’ type register or go through a CM. I think this was at the register



She told us we can be seated wherever we liked and that they would find us. I asked her which room was the best and she personally liked the West Wing so we went to check it out

The Ballroom

And then we found the West Wing and can I tell you how incredibly difficult it is to get a shot in this room! It’s so dark in there and it’s hard to get a picture of the rose









We found a table pretty close to the rose and got situated and very soon after our food had arrived. Can’t believe how fast they were!

I ordered the Croque Monsieur
- Grilled Sandwich of Carved Ham, Gruyere Cheese, and Béchamel with Pommes Frites




DH ordered the French Onion Soup and the Grilled Steak Sandwich
with Garlic Butter Spread and Pommes Frites Quinoa, Shallot, and Chive Salad with Green Beans, Potatoes, Olives, Roasted Bell Peppers, and, Tomatoes



DM ordered the Carved Turkey Sandwich -
served warm on a Baguette with Dijon Mayonnaise and Pommes Frites



And for dessert the Triple Chocolate Cupcake and the Chocolate Cream Puff



DS was very lucky because he was able to try little bits of everyone’s food!



Like I said, it was hard getting pictures in here!





I thought this cupcake was so pretty!

So about every 15-20 there is a big thunderstorm and it changes the picture from the Prince to a Beast. It’s pretty cool!



Lunch was very tasty! I was a little disappointed that I was not able to partake in a beer or a glass of wine with lunch, but I’ll just need to come back for dinner one day. Our meals were very big! In fact, DM and I could have shared a plate with a bowl of soup and been fine. I think next time, I’ll choose to sit in either the Ballroom or the Rose Gallery though. Although the ambiance was neat in the West Wing, it was a little too dark for me.

After our lunch, we got DS cleaned up and started making our way out. But I wanted to take a few more pictures.

I can’t get over how magnificent this ceiling is





Watching the snow fall outside would be a wonderful view from our table next time I think



The Rose Gallery – sorry it’s so blurry. It’s Belle and the Beast dancing



Not quite as detailed as the Ballroom or the West Wing, but nice and comfortable



Waiting for everyone to come out of the restrooms, I took a wider shot of the Ballroom



DS was anxious to get moving!



But really quick, some pictures in front of the stained glass!



So funny story, DM is TERRIBLE at taking a picture with my big camera. For the life of her, she cannot physically press the shutter button DH and I just don’t get it. We tell her to put her finger on the button before bringing it up to her eye to shoot but every time her finger slips. But I wanted a picture with DH in front of the window, so I started thinking. I have three options – my big camera (uh..no!), my point and shoot (let’s not chance it) or my iPhone (better chance of getting some type of shot) So I got my camera up on my iPhone and told her how to use it and she did it!






As we were leaving BoG, I pushed the big camera into DM’s hands and said, “Please just practice taking pictures. Don’t aim the camera anywhere, just press the button and I’ll erase the pictures later.” So I got about 15 of these types of shots



And told her okay now take a picture of us while walking







I wanted to evaluate her shots, so I checked out the pictures and she did it! HALLELUJUAH! I gave her a big hug and congratulated her on her new hobby and we all started laughing

We have yet to sit in the West Wing, had lunch and dinner in the Ballroom and sat in the Rose Gallery last time. LOVED the lighting in the Rose Gallery - perfect for taking pics of your food.

Looks like a great lunch. I agree the West Wing is too dark for my taste. Im looking forward to having dinner there in June. I didn't know the armour talked! I guess it was so loud in that room when we ate there so I couldn't hear them.
