It is impossible to get a good picture inside BOG, which is sad as it is just so lovely! Your lunch looks VERY yummy, makes me really want to try and go there for lunch in May.

Hey, an evening update - no video games for DH tonight?

Glad everything went smoothly for you at BOG. I'm with you on wanting to sit by the snowy window next time. Glad you got DM camera-trained!

OMGOSH! I died laughing! Actually he was sick all week last week (me secretly ->) JK! He had a really bad cold, so he was unable to concentrate on gaming.

It just looks so relaxing being seated by the snow.

We have yet to sit in the West Wing, had lunch and dinner in the Ballroom and sat in the Rose Gallery last time. LOVED the lighting in the Rose Gallery - perfect for taking pics of your food.

Yes, I think the Ballroom and Rose Gallery have much better 'photography lighting' than the West Wing!

Lovely update of BoG. The food looks reasonable and I don't think you can beat the decor and ambience.

Looks like a great lunch. I agree the West Wing is too dark for my taste. Im looking forward to having dinner there in June. I didn't know the armour talked! I guess it was so loud in that room when we ate there so I couldn't hear them.

Yes take a listen next time! One was snoring and one woke him up. And I remember hearing something about a beautiful woman...i'm pretty sure he was talking about Belle (although in my head, it's me!)

The cupcake was actually very moist and delicious! I hope you'll be able to get lunch there. You two would really enjoy it!

I was attempting to make those shots a little better with those filters. Actually, you are the reason I started editing some photos! I never knew you could do that on PB until you started doing it on all your other TR's, so thank you!

I didn't say did I!? I really enjoyed my meal. It was delicious and I think the ambiance made it 10 times better! And please, be as greedy as you want to be!

After our fun and tasty lunch at BOG, we had a mountain to get to. Splash Mountain to be exact. Our FP+ was available at 12:05 – 1:05, and it was after 12:30 so we had plenty of time to leisurely make our way over there.

We grabbed a Rider Swap for my DM, and DH and I made our way on



And a walk on it was! I did manage to grab a few blurry pictures on our way to the front





Right on to the boat and off we went!





Because we all know, at Walt Disney World



DH let me and DM go on, and again, no waiting. Love it!

After our ride on Splash, we had one last Mountain to conquer (remember, we did Space early on that morning!) and our FP+ was available so DH and I went on first.

I’m not sure why I took these pictures. Maybe so I could remember the time? Because there’s really nothing going on here..





Then DM and I went on. DM is ‘eh’ for this ride at DLR. However, she really enjoyed herself here at the MK! She was screaming and raising her hands on all the dips. Fun times!

At this point in the day, it was getting really muggy and hot. A cold drink or ice cream was definitely in order. Sunshine Tree Terrace was the nearest stand so that’s where I stood…for ten minutes! Why it takes so long, I have no idea. But while in line, everyone took turns to use the restroom. I would like to think we were multi-tasking. DM wanted a Raspberry Lemonade Slush and I decided to get a Vanilla Soft Serve for the three of us to share.





This was DS’s first time trying ice cream and he loved it!



Poor thing, you could tell by his sweat-soaked hair, he was hot



But it cooled him down. He shivered a few times at the coldness lol!

Since we were so close to CBJ, why not catch a show! And one was just starting so no waiting needed. In fact, I think I needed to hurry and park the stroller as they were getting ready to shut the doors but we made it. And someone’s ready for the show to start!







So I’ve seen this show a few times, but I never really paid attention to the words during some of the songs. The lyrics are hilarious…and weird? “Blood on the Saddle – blood on the ground – covered in gore..” What the heck?? But I like the girls song the most - “The guys that turn me on, turn me down”

After CBJ, we decided to check on the wait time for POTC and it was only 10 minutes so in line we went. In only ended up being a 5 minute wait so yippee!



After our ride, we thought it would be a good time to head back to BLT and check out our room and rest for a bit before our ADR at Artist Point that evening. I thought it was a good plan. It was really hot and getting crowded





I haven’t even checked into our room at BLT yet, but I already love it. Anyone know why??

wow, other than the odd long wait for refreshments that was a very efficient use of time at MK getting on Splash and Big Thunder and then CBJ and Pirates

That is so cool being that close to MK and just kinda walking to your room and there is Space Mountain and Cinderella's Castle, no biggie

You guys did so much during your day there! You MUST ride Big Thunder at DL when you come down next! It is sooooooo cool! Way more smooth and the effects at the end are just awesome! I'll have to try it at WDW to remember what it used to be like!

I really need to do CBJ on my next trip. I know that I've seen it, but I might have been in the 3rd grade the last time that I did!

Good thing Calvin's first Ice Cream was Disney Ice Cream! How could he not love it after that?

That's the other thing. I loved not having to fold up the stroller. It can be a pain shuffling bags, sippy cups, etc around just to fold it up.

Oh wow you've already been on it?! Did you update that on your TR? Don't know how I missed it...

I didn't put it on my TR, only FB. I got to ride it during the Previews last weekend. It was SUPER COOL! Some imagineers talked about the ride before we got to go on it and they said it was really fun to update it because they included technology that wasn't available when the ride opened on this update!
