followup to Crocs post yesterday

Sorry, not sure where to put this thread. There were a few of you questioning the ordering and receipt of your Crocs. I had mentioned I ordered mine in May and have not received it. The thread prompted me to contact them AGAIN (did so in June and told on backorder). I emailed yesterday morning, still no response and left a message with their customer service. Which, by the way, has to be the worst customer service. I get a live person who then sends me to an answering machine. I leave a detailed message with name, address, phone, order number, order date and say I am checking to on shipment of my order. They leave me a message last night saying "Yes, your shipping address is blah blah blah. Thank you." They left me a message confirming my shipping address!!!! I will be calling them back AGAIN! I am so ready to cancel my order!
 
I agree! I got the same run around you did. I did cancel. When I got the first live person I told her that I was calling from a law firm (I was, I work at one) and that if I did not get a person who could handle a cancellation, I would not pay for the shoes if I did get them. (I had sent an email, so I had my request for cancellation in writing.) That got me a real person FAST!
 
Everyone kept talking about how bad their customer service was....so I hated to order any from Crocs.com but then most online sites don't have a large choice and you can't try before you buy :(

So tonight we went out to get my husband a new pair of boots for work at a local shoe store. Guess what they had right inside the door!!!! Crocs!

Only had black, pink, green, blue, tan, orange and one pair of purple. They had limited styles and sizes too....but I got a pair of black ones (the Nile style). The best part....28.00! She said they had another order coming in but she wasn't sure when they'd be there as the company is being really slow about shipping them to the stores.
 
They finally responded to my email saying they were shipped. BUT....get into work this mornig and they responded to my phone call saying they were still out of Red Beach in small, how they were so sorry I had to wait this long since I ordered them in May, etc. etc. And here's the kicker....since they don't have them in would I like to order another color?!??!

Okay so what is it, did you ship my shoes or not?! When I call today, if they really didn't ship, then I am for sure canceling my order! I am so fed up with them.
 

WOW - what a story!! I went into our local Hallmark store yesterday (it's not in a mall) and they had a TON of 'em hanging on some display thing. They were $30.00 - not sure of the style, etc. as the shoes aren't my style. Maybe you could try one of the Hallmark stores around you? I was really surprised to see that!!

Good luck - I'd cancel that order!!
 
I ordered a pair online and new it would probably be quite a wait. I then cancelled after a few weeks because they are everywhere around here (Iowa). Our small local shoe store has them piled up in large quantities and every mall has lots of places with them.

Good luck to everyone trying to order them online. I hope you get what you want and if not, keep an eye out when you are shopping. They seem to be becoming much easier to get your hands on in a regular store.
 
Okay following my fiasco last week of receiving an email saying my order has been fulfilled and a phone call saying they were out of stock......according to Fedex tracking I will have my shoes (finally!) today. I probably will end up writing them about their poor customer service. Based on some other posts here, it does seem if you are waiting on a back order, if you call then suddenly it ships?? Now, let's see if they fit and I like them.... :scratchin
 
Those of you having problems ordering from Crocs.com, are you ordering the Beach? That's the most popular style and apparantly, they're very hard to keep in stock.

If you're willing to spend $10 extra, try the Cayman. It looks exactly like the Beach, the only difference is that it comes in whole sizes, rather than the double sizes 8/9, 10/11, etc. I ordered a pair for me (because they fit me better) and a pair for my dd just last Friday and already yesterday got the e-mail saying the order had been filled, and FedEx should deliver it on Monday.
 
I ordered the Nile style last week and they arrived two days ago. Very speedy shipping so I was really impressed. Maybe it makes a big difference depending on size, style, and color as to how fast or slow the order is filled and shipped. I love the Nile sandal style and they should be great in the rain at WDW.
 
Just had to respond to this post!! I had an awful time trying to get Crocs also!I wanted the Nile for our June trip and they are not found in any store that I could find. I ordered them directly from thier website, 2 weeks go by and no shoes. So I call them, what a fiasco! Talk about BADDDD customer service! Long story short, everything back ordered, order cancelled, shoes reordered twice!!, shoes still never arrived! Original order was in March, it's now the end of May. Cancel again, this time for good. Found the Nile on another webite, shoes came in 2 days, just in time for our trip. Guess what? My mother and I hated them!!! Tried to get used to them, wore them every day at home the week before we left. Can't see what everyone is raving about :confused3 , we never wore them once during our 12 day trip!! What a waste of $30! I bought a pair of Nike Celso thongs the day before we left and they were wonderful! Feet were cool and never hurt. :goodvibes
 
I would love to buy some Crocs locally but have only found them in one store, 20 miles away, in a different style than I want.
Mavanilly, I'm envious, I ordered two pairs of Niles on May 12 for our June trip, They were supposed to be in-stock, as of today they have still not arrived. I ordered a size 9, one black, one tan.
Croc's has to have the least interested and rudest staff ever, Calling them has only resulted in "so, what do you want me to do". I've called 3 times now, of course it's been two and one half months since I placed my order.
Oh well, We're going back to WDW at the end of October for a short MNSSHP trip :cool1: so MAYBE I'll have Croc's by then. I'm about to lose interest.
