Flying US Air and RAC

Hi All,

Our college bound daughter will depart MCO to fly back to campus. MY question is about flying US Air and RAC. I do not think luggage is free on this airline and wonder how to make the arrangements? Do I do this at Disney or prior to our trip?

She has to change planes also! Does this make any difference? Having a freshman in college is a whole new experience!

You call the RAC operator (I think it is still BAGS, Inc.) to arrange to pay the airline baggage fees. DD can do this while you are down there, at least a day before she is leaving the resort.

Changing planes doesn't make any difference, the baggage is transferred by the airline.

DON'T wait until the day before she departs to make her Magical Express/RAC arrangements. Do that earlier in your trip. That way, the day before she departs, her Magical Express packet including information on how to pay for her checked luggage will be left on/under your door the day before she leaves. This will give you time to take care of that.
