Ive not been around for a while and more importantly not been to DLP all summer but it is getting closer to our Halloween trip now so I am enjoying reading peoples posts about it and seeing the inventive costumes although I dont think we will be wearing them ourselves. Weve just booked our Halloween party tickets today so excited about that but also
Im taking DS on my own this weekend for a surprise birthday Disney trip
. And to compound the excitement on the day, we are going to fly there. He hasn't flown since he was very young so will not be able to remember it at all and has been pointing to planes in the sky and saying, Me for a while now as he loves different modes of transport. I should point out that DS is going to be 22 on Sunday but has the mental age of a toddler so we can drop the twenty part of his age! Wish I could drop twenty years off my age too actually
I am a bit worried about travelling with a toddler who towers above me
on my own plus a suitcase and cabin bag (always rather a lot of stuff to bring related to special needs) and can see him pulling me in all directions. We are flying Southampton to Orly and I will bring books to look at on the plane with him as I think the novelty may not last the whole flight. The big problem I have just realised is that we dont get in until 20.45 so too late for a VEA shuttle.
Any suggestions for a private shuttle (would be happy to share) as I dont fancy the RER and all the changes it involves?
Any other tips welcome too please.
