Flying to DVC with Food

Not without paying for it. Depending on how long you will be there, it might be worth it to get the refillable mug and bring a second reusable mug from home.
We need only two mornings of coffee at each resort. After doing the math, it's definitely not worth getting the refillable mug. We try not to drink cokes now too often, and I'm afraid that will be an added temptation anyway. Do you know how much it is to get the extra pack of coffee? We will seriously need only two days total since one day at each resort is provided. My DH isn't too picky either, so the packs they provide is fine with him. If we have to pack the ground coffee, he is adamant about having a sealed container when checking our bag at the airport. And I don't blame him. I think he is ok now with putting the rest in ziploc bags and hiding it in the luggage when we transfer to the other resort. We aren't big on having people handle open containers of food/drink. That's why the 1/2 gallon of juice won't work for us. We have decided to definitely pack the juice. We will buy the pint size milk for the coffee at each resort. Just trying to decide on the coffee grounds.

Will you do doing any kind of meal plan? You would get the mugs if you do, and they do have juice at some of the refill stations. I have found milk at the resort stores to be quite reasonable. We always pack oatmeal and boxed cereal. The individual servings in those little cups for oatmeal are great....stick it the in the microwave. Or we heat water in the micro in a coffee cup (you are supposed to get glass ones in studios). Cereal bars or nutrigrain bars travel well also. I'm not real keen on transporting liquids in my suitcase. I am guessing you won't be renting a car? I know lots of people will uber or lyft to the Speedway gas stations on property for some staples....they also have breakfast sandwiches and lunch stuff, beer and wine and bottled water.

Have a great trip.
Just got some of the individual oatmeal cups. Any suggestions for the best way to pack these? It seems easy to poke a hole through the top.

Ok, why? And why check coffee? Put it in carryon, take it to the parks with you on moving day or head over and leave bags with Bell
Services (no one is going through your bags)...

How much coffee does he drink each morning? From what I recall, and have experienced at other studios, they have the big coffee makers with matching size packets of coffee. I'd bring 4 filters, open the coffee they provide, halve it, and have that as my day's coffee. Finish it the next day. Repeat at the next resort. I drink two cups a day and I'm pretty sure both me and my cousin were each able to get that amount each day from the provided pack.

And then we went and got coffee in our mugs because we're addicts lol. And we each felt that 4 mornings of coffee (and like I said I get decaf in the evenings) makes the mug worth it because it becomes a souvenir.

Ok, it definitely makes sense to put a ziploc bag of ground coffee in carryon instead of buying a sealed container and then throwing out most it before flying home. It won't take up too much room in the carryon. He usually drinks just one or two cups, so that's good to know that one packet of coffee in the room would be enough for two days. But I still think I'll take some extra just in case.

Put them in carryon if that's a concern.
This definitely won't work. I won't have a lot of room in our carryon bag. I have 6 containers of oatmeal and they are awkwardly shaped and rather large. I may find a tupperware container and see if they fit in there.

Thanks for all the help. I guess it's obvious I don't fly often.

Prices for extra can be found here (along with a list of studio amenities):

Coffee Package: $3

I don't drink coffee so I can't say how much there is in a studio (I do bring the packets home for the parents though).
Thank you. I think it's cheaper to just buy some in the gift shop. I still think we will just use what's in the room and pack a little extra in the carryon.

We've found it easy to bring packages of oatmeal in a zip bag, and some paper bowls or cups. Doesn't take up much room. We also pack plastic silverware. You can get juice at your resort - or skip it for a couple of days?

We've packed food and drinks (including beer, wine, water and juice boxes) Never had a problem except the tsa usually goes through those bags. I assumed they see large containers during the scanning.
We put our liquids in wine skins, travel bags. Never had one break yet. (They sell all different kinds on Amazon)
We always take a backpack cooler or a hard small cooler in our checked luggage that we put our juices, drinks or spill able items in when we travel and then use them in the room for our drinks with ice from the ice machines. When we come home i just pack our bought breakable stuff in them with clothing.
