My husband and I will be flying SW from PIT-MCO in a little less than a month.

I have purchased EBCI for us both.

I am not super familiar with the Southwest area of the PIT airport. I am wondering what my best course of action would be to get our bags checked.

Since we will be automatically checked in at the 36 hour mark, I plan on printing our boarding passes at home.

Can I get to the airport and do curbside bag check and then proceed to security? Do I need to go to the Southwest desk inside and check our bags? Once my boarding pass is printed at home, I don't have to do any other form of checking in at the airport other than giving them my bags?

Southwest does have curbside check. You can either check your bags there (and tip) or inside. I've never seen a really long line inside, they have plenty of stations. There is only one check-in terminal so if you have used other airlines, it's the same.

Security is down the escalator from the check-in area. If the line is long, there is an alternate checkpoint across from the check-in area. After going through security, you get on a train over to the gates.

The majority of southwest flights use the A1 thru A7 gates so there will not a long walk to after the food court/hub area.
