OK, so I was driving with my DW and we saw a car with a Darwin Fish on one side and some jellyfish looking thing on the other. Neither of us could tell what it was, but I noticed it had the letters FSM inside of it. I looked it up and this is what it is.

I have to say this is a brilliant spoof on Intelligent Design and the amount of following that this guy is getting is astonishing. Has anyone here ever heard of this?

Actually, I have heard of it recently also but I will admit I had to Wiki it to find out what it was.

Very interesting indeed. Were that to show up on my vehicle however, I have no doubt the folks in this conservative hotbed I live in would set fire to my car and run me out of town.

I have a hard time keeping Darwin Fish on my car here. I think I am up to 3 in the last 2 years that have been stolen off my car. I am changing to window stickers now.

Yes- I am a Pastafarian. They do sell extra feet for your Darwin Fish if he needs limb replacement surgery. I love this site too!

Maybe they think they are removing my false idols? I will be investing in the FSM though. A sticker and a t-shirt I think. The problem is do I want the pirate fish or the FSM Himself.

I will admit I find the Darwin fish a little offensive, but for some reason I like the FSM. Probably because the Pastafarians correlate Global warming with the decline in the number of Pirates.

Around here they burn off any of the spoof fish they find offensive. Apprently somebody figured out a way to do it and spread the word to their friends. I've know at least three people that have had it done to their car and they don't directly know each other or live in the same area.

I love the FSM people. Not only are they funny but the idea of the Flying Spaghetti Monster helps in constructing objections to various arguments for God's existence when I teach philosophy of religion.
