We have signed up for DME for our Aug. 21 trip. We are flying Southwest. Does this mean that our luggage will be in our room after we check it at the airport in Philly or do we have to get our luggage ourselves once we land at MCO and bring it to the bus ourselves? Anyone know?? Thanks for your help. :flower:

Luggage will be delivered to your room. The participating airlines only come into play for the return to the airport. Southwest is not participating, so you will have to carry your luggage to the DME bus for the return and check in at the airport. If you were flying a participating airline, you could check the luggage at the resort and not see it again until baggage claim at your home airport.

Thanks for your reply! :flower: My next question. Once I arrrive at MCO for my departing flight, do I need to get my luggage to the Southwest check-in counter myself? Are there skycaps available at the drop off place? I am visualizing having to lug my children and luggage to Southwest.... :confused3

You will be responsible for checking it in. I've never flown SWA or used DME but I imagine it would be a good spot for skycaps to hang out to get customers.

There are SW skycaps in both Philly and MCO...
