Flying solo to the Magic Kingdom - March 22nd

I am going to WDW with my partner because his company is having a conference that week. But he will be in meetings all day on Tuesday march 22nd. I've never been to Disney World alone but I have a ticket for the Magic Kingdom. I think I'm most worried about eating dinner alone and I'll feel like a loser. Would anybody want to meet up with me for a part of the day? Or at least for a meal so I won't feel totally alone? I don't have a park hopper so I'll only have access to the Magic Kingdom as far as parks go.
