Flying Midwest Airlines

Is it a good airline? Do they have assigned seats? I can get a ticket from them for 1/2 the price than American Airlines.

It was the best domestic airline of them all. You used to get nice meals - I had lobster once - with real knives and forks, napkins, etc. Plus they would give you all the wine you wanted. Recently, though, they've cut that out in order to remain competitive.

But you still get leather seats, with four in a row instead of five so that there's extra butt room. And on most flights they bake and serve chocolate chips cookies, and they'rer still warm when they hand them out.

I'd pay a little extra to fly Midwest. At half the price of American, it's a no-brainer.

I believe there was a past post, a long time ago, and many of the Chicago area flyers loved Midwest. Wish we had it here in Cleve.

Absolutely the best airline around. I live in Milwaukee and would probably pay double just to fly on Midwest over anyone else. There are assigned seats for the flight. If you book direct with Midwest they will give you a confirmation number and E-ticket number in an email for confirmation. They will also tell you when you book what your seats are. After you book go to their website and choose to change your reservation. Once you are in this feature you can scroll down and check to change seat assigments. It will bring up a drawing of the plane along with what seats are open and which are not. Just click on a different seat and you are moved. Trust me take the Midwest flight.
