Flying into Tampa-Grocery Stop?

We are flying into Tampa next week and staying at boardwalk. Can anyone give me directions to an easy to get to grocery stop that would be on the way from Tampa to Boardwalk? My husband is not joining us for a few days so it will just be my kiddos and I. I am notoriously bad at directions, so something that is not too far off the main highway would be ideal. Thanks for your help!

You have a car. You have many choice. What store? Publix? Target? WalMart? WinDixie? COSTCO?

Publix website will show you a map. There are several stores along I-4 with easy on and off access.

Thanks for your help. I would prefer a super target or walmart. I am thinking I would rather it to be toward the Orlando side of the drive because our flight arrives at 2:30 pm. If I hurry out of the airport I hope to miss the majority of the Tampa rush hour. Hoping my flight isn't delayed!

The easiest would be Publix. It is right off of I-4 in Champoins Gate which is exit 58 on I-4 and is about 15 minutes from Disney. World Dr - the exit for Disney from I-4 is at exit 62 just to should how close the store is to Disney. This is where we stop when we fly into Tampa.

It right off the highway and it an area that is not that busy. So it easy off easy on the highway.

If you would rather a Walmart Supercenter or Super Target, there are two stores which are close to the Boardwalk Resort area. The Walmart is on S. Apopka Vineland (which is Route 535) which means you would exit I4 onto World Drive (Route 536 East) and only go about 2.5 miles, turn right onto Route 525 (Apopka Vineland) and it's about a mile on the right side. When returning to the Boardwalk area simply retrace your steps and get back on World Drive and follow the signs for the Boardwalk Resort area. The Super Target is also very easy. Get off I4 at the Western Beltway (Route 429)Exit 60 which I believe may be a toll road or at least parts of it are. Stay on the Beltway for 4 miles and get off on Route 192E toward Kissimmee. Target is on your right within 1/2 mile off the Beltway. Then when heading to Boardwalk simply get back on 192 toward Kissimmee until you see the sign for World Drive...again once onsite just follow the signage to the Boardwalk Resort area. Better yet......just place your order online with Garden Grocer and avoid the stop. Have your groceries waiting for you when you get to the Boardwalk! I always schedule our delivery for the time or shortly after our flight is scheduled to arrive at MCO. I usually get a text message while walking thru the airport that our groceries are being held by Bell Services. When we get there....we check-in and ask the desk to have Bell Services bring our groceries up to the room. This works for you since you're arriving in Tampa at 2:30 p.m. so won't be arriving at Boardwalk until after 4:00 p.m. check-in.
